Default Help!! Logitech 9000 has lost its mind!!

I was settling down to film a few clips today and for whatever reason.... my Logitech9000 has lost its mind. Whatever I record just plays back the sound with no video no matter what I do. I don't know whats going on....

Yeah.. I need to upgrade, but I've still got a couple of weeks or so before I can do so financially...... grrrrrr

Ah the 9000... it's great until it decides to crap out lol. Have you upgraded the software for your logitech cam?

Yes... and it's working fine with the encoder on SM, but its just not behaving when it comes to filming clips. Ugh.. so frustrating.

What do you use for video recording/editing? Sometimes you have to manually go through the settings and set the camera/audio options. Have you tried switching usb slots on your computer and seeing if it helps?

Yep.. I've switched USB slots. I've always just used the built in software from Logitech as far as recording goes... I'm very inelegant in regards to editing.. most of what I film clip wise is unedited basic fetish stuff.

I don't know of any other way to record other than via the built in software... I'm not as technologically advanced as some

Have you tried movie maker? It's pretty easy to learn and may fix the problem, especially considering it sounds like a program error...

^That's probably your issue. I'd get a new laptop before splurging on a new graphics card. Try downloading an older version in the mean time. Maybe check your graphics card stats before and see what's compatible.

Yeah... apparently my graphics card which was just fine with my cam a year ago is no longer fine... <shrug>. Guess I'm gonna limit myself to just camming until I can upgrade.

I had that problem on a laptop I had. I used this instead: http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/downl...ils.aspx?id=34

No luck there either. I think I've just pushed poor old Bessie to her limit. It's time to replace it anyhow... 3 years is a pretty decent lifespan for a laptop in my world.

Quick camera question-- I see a lot of ladies singing the praises of the 920... Anyone use the BBC950? I like the remote feature along with a few other features of it.

Yeah-- the difference on Amazon between the two is minimal... I'm thinking of getting it.
