And say you're working at a nude bar in Queens?
And say you're working at a nude bar in Queens?
That's hard to predict.
Just go to work for a week and see for yourself what your average weekly earnings would be then calculate from there
“Cook for him like a housewife, fuck him good like a nympho….pay the rent and the car note, he invests in me like crypto”
6 weeks maybe ..
Working how many days a week?
Hun there are too many variables. People can estimate but that might just leave you to get your hopes up only to fail. Best bet is to go work and get a feel for a few nights then see how it goes. Ask if there is anything thing that goes on that would bring in more $$ than a regular day.

Jesus H. Christ, no two strippers are alike. Some might get it in a week, some in a day, others maybe a month. Ask Barbie NYC, she's the queens expert.

In Portland it would take like 3 to 4 shifts every week for 10 weeks :/.

Oh honey, if this is another "I want to get rich quick and easy, let me strip!" .... Just don't.
NY is a very difficult place to dance and according to your membership (and the fact that you asked this question), you have no idea if you can hack it yet, so don't get ahead of yourself. Make sure you can work a shift without being traumatized first.
To humor your question... In Phx it would take me (assuming I hustle every second that I'm in the club, and the club is either busy at a Thurs-Sat level or has a Sunday amount of girls)... at 4 shifts a week, about 6 weeks, to gross that amount. My club also only offers $10 and $20 dances though. NY is obviously more lucrative, IF you know the hustle and can deal with the contact and management. Someone seasoned like Barbie could probably do it in a month.
"People jack off with the left hand and point with the right."
"You can check out any time you like, but you can never leave."
Work your ass off full time, 5 days a week and don't spend money on anything you don't absolutely need and you might surprise yourself...

6-10 weeks ( for me depending on how many shifts ).
I never could dance full time hours . It's way to hard emotionally and I'd bet id make similar amounts doing 2-3 shifts a week than 4-5.
To follow up with other posters... There IS a learning curve. Sales skills will take you far!

As a newbie you might anticipate about a $200 average per shift. So that's 50 shifts... If you do 5 shifts a week that's 10 weeks. This is a pretty low number and I started averaging $400 per shift within my first month on the job. But I know a lot of newbies who make $100 per shift most of the time. It also depends whether you're doing day shifts, because I only do night shifts. I know some girls who work all day every day, in which case you could probably knock it out in like 3 or 4 weeks.

You have to see how YOU do weekly to have an idea. Depending how many shifts/hours you're willing to work.
BarbieNYC, doesn't want to be bothered by PMs.

So much this.
If you don't know what you're doing yet it's very easy to go home in the hole your first few shifts. I can't specifically advise on NYC but when girls around here ask about stripping I always tell them to have at least $1000 saved up before they even think about it. You can't just walk into a club in your underwear and expect to leave with anything. It's a sales job at the end of the day, and you need to be able to sell. And if you're wandering around stressed about money it makes it even harder.

Like the other ladies said there is a lot that goes into answering this question... I didn't know how to hustle to save my life back in the day and usually just got lucky with the "wanta dance?" (Horrible I know!) I still pulled at least 150-200 a shift after paying out and tipping at a nude club. I am going back to work at a topless spot that does bikini dances at $20 a dance and then you set your own rates for VIP after the room rental which can really work to your advantage if you are a hustler. I personally don't like VIPs because it is too long to duck and dodge them trying to have sex with you in my opinion so I just try and keep my dances high at my average of about $300-500 a shift I would say 3 shifts a week it would take me like 10 weeks as well... Learn to hustle that ass off and if you can book VIPS it will be faster, oh and it will be faster at a nude club. I like the booze factor, easier to get tips this way![]()
