Does anyone have any ideas where to find potential investors for a new adult business? Thanks!

    Your client list.

Seriously. One of my clients is the VP of a tech firm and another makes his living launching startups. Brilliant men with money and an openness to the adult industry, right there for you to contact.

Alternatively... Well, if you're in this forum, more likely than not, you're a whore, ergo you have a fairly lucrative income stream, and should be able to bootstrap. Check out Guy Kawasaki's The Art of The Start 2.0. You simply don't need that much money to launch these days. I'm working on launching a site with the ultimate goal of wiping out P411 and nullifying any value TER, Slixa, and Eros may have ever had for high-end escorts.

Thanks for your reply. Actually I am not an escort. I tend to work more in fetish etc. industries. I am having a difficult time finding an investor in a very unique venture that I am putting together. I am not sure if it's because of where I live or what. Any other ideas of where I could look for one? Thanks!

How much money are you looking to raise? Is this a business idea only or do you already have an existing business that you want to expand? There are different types of investors (VC, Angel, Private) based on the amount and type of funding you need. There are also KickStarter type sites to get capital to start a business. There are also entrepreneur mentoring websites that can help you find a mentor/investor. I can give more specific contact info once I know how much you need.

Try using this site or other adult sites that have forums. Explain your business venture, what you need, what you will offer in return, etc.
