I will probably be banned from this blog for posting about this but that's ok, I have already gotten the information I need from it. A short time ago I did some sociological research telling a story of a woman I worked with who had very arrogantly and smugly assumed I was asking her out when in reality I simply needed her to do her job. I was always raised to be respectful and humble so this kind of behavior was foreign to me and I couldn't for the life of me figure out why on earth anyone would act like that. The responses I received surprised me. I was told that I was misogynistic, that the only reason I would be offended by such behavior is because I was attracted to her and was very bitter about her rejection. I put these accusations out of my mind until yesterday when this same woman was approached by yet another man. He said, very politely, "Excuse me, Miss...Would y---". She cut him off sharply with a sigh of annoyed disgust, "I have a boyfriend...and besides, you're old enough to be my father." "Congratulations," he replied most genuinely as he held up his banded ring finger. "I've been married to my boyfriend for three years. I hope it's not the same guy." Our supervisor then called him into his office. I was getting a cup of coffee and had seen the whole scene, I walked up to her desk, grinning ear to ear. "You have no idea who that was do you?" She looked at me with disdain, "Just some perv trying to get some." "No, that was the owner of the company...and like he said, he is gay...and married. I know, I was a groomsman at the wedding." As if on cue, the door to the supervisor's office opened and both he and the owner emerged. "[insert her name here], may I see you in my office?" Her eyes bulged, it looked as if she had been hit in the stomach with a baseball bat. She looked at me, I smiled gravely and shrugged. Clumsy as a newborn calf she made her way to the office. I just shook my head. Five minutes later she emerged, deflated and wiping tears from her eyes. She went straight to her desk and began packing her things. That was yesterday, and her desk was completely empty this morning. I hope she learned a valuable lesson.

We assume too much that men want our bodies!
I guess it's a good thing we live in a patriarchy to keep all us cunts in line. /endsarcasm
