Although I do not use their products exclusively, I really love Paula's Choice skincare line. I'd like to recommend them to you for a few reasons...
-Their site allows you to search by skin concern(s). So if you have no clue what kind of product you should be using, you don't have to blindly guess or search through reviews or forums.
-They provide understandable explanations regarding what a product does and HOW. The more you understand the science behind skincare, the better your skin is going to look!
-No added fragrances or dyes.
-100% cruelty free, including the sources they get their ingredients from.
-A huge selection of quality products that can answer to a wide variety of skin problems. Many skincare lines only "treat" acne. These lines also often use ingredients that do more long-term harm to your skin than good, such as those that create micro-tears (allowing more bacteria in and increasing acne) and dry out your skin (temporary reduction in some types of acne as active breakouts dry up, then your skin works double time to create more oil). This leads to thoughts like, "It worked at first, but now I guess my skin is used to it. Maybe I should start using it more often, or maybe I should get another product to pair it with..." Very profitable for the company, but not so great for the consumer.
-They frequently have sales, making their mid-line prices very affordable.
I used to have really shit skin, and the biggest culprits behind it were ignorance and low-quality (though definitely not always cheap) skincare products. But upping my skincare game has taken me from constant breakouts on my face and body to one or two pimples every now and then. I have the time to worry about collagen and underlying redness now, and I don't feel like I have to wear foundation every day.
Anyway, I really like this line and have increasingly been turning to it for chemical exfoliants in particular. If you are interested in trying it, they're having a "Buy $x, Get $x Off!" sale through tomorrow, and new customers get 10% off and free shipping. They have a refer-a-friend discount program, so you can also get $10 off by clicking this link, which will take you to their site: https://goo.gl/T9Ibkg . If you complete an order after clicking on that, I also get a $10 credit once your order ships. The link is good for multiple people and will stay active. You can use multiple deals/discounts at once.
Currently in my shopping cart: Resist Daily Pore-Refining Treatment with 2% BHA, and I'm browsing Vitamin C Serums!
