    Default Stage dance questions

Hello! I am new to this website. I am extremely happy that I found this resource! I am going to audition in the middle of august at Cheetah I just have a couple questions about stripping that I couldn't seem to find in threads, Thanks.

    1. I understand that at the club I want to work for goes like this. 1st song clothed 2nd bra off 3rd nude... where do you put all your garments? I could see some guy going to grab your bra while dancing XD I have a girly go garter which is AWESOME but my bra wouldn't fit in there.

2.Is it a good idea to bring in packages of water bottles for the girls and I or would that piss off the bar staff? I would still tip of course.

    3. I always see people say make sure to tip the bar, house mom etc ..they never say all of them..Who do I tip and 10 % each ?

    4. If I was amazing at my audition would they be able to waive the house fee on my first night? #broke

Thanks ! for some reason my keyboard doesn't really work on this website if anyone else has that problem let me know haha. Excited to start. Thank you for your time.

Nah you can set it anywhere on the stage where you won't trip over it. A dude touching you or your sh*t on stage without permission is grounds for bouncer action.

Thanks, when you get off stage do you pick it up along with tips and put it back on? I know this may sound dumb I just want to be as prepared as possible.

Go to the club as a customer to scout it, just sitting back w/ a drink & observing will answer many of these kind of questions. You can also tip a dancer who works there to sit w/ you & answer your questions.

Just put your stuff (purse, drink, $$$$, clothes as they come off) in a spot towards the back or middle of the stage where you're the only one who can reach them.

It's very common for a club to waive a new girl's fees the first nite, sm clubs I've worked even did so for the first three nites. Strictly speaking from my own exp, this waive included house & mgmt/housemom tipouts but DJ/security tipouts were still required. YMMV strongly tho as just like every other policy, every club is different.

Why would you be worried abt what the other dancers are drinking?? Seriously, think abt this. I understand your intentions are good w/ this idea, but you are not there to win friends among your coworkers. Be polite but don't go trying to butter-up the other girls by bringing in bottles of water for them. Strippers in general are a wary bunch & best case scenario you get politely but laughingly refused -- I would fall into that group as I was an 'aqua-holic' when I danced; that was pretty much all I drank but I sure as hell wouldn't accept it from a person I didn't know. Worse case you piss-off a girl who's a hardcore drinker/drug user & she takes your kindness as an unfriendly judgment of her health or moral choices. Besides, that shit costs YOU $$$$. Let the other girls worry abt themselves. Bring a liter bottle for water that you can refill at the bar as you need. Most places would probably top you off for free but I have worked at sm clubs that demanded I fork over a couple bucks per refill, since I wasn't helping the club's liquor sales bc I didn't imbibe at work.

Staff tipout: again, YMMV. This is determined by the individual club & is a question you should bring up directly w/ mgmt. Other girls or staff may have their own agenda & deliberately steer you wrong on this -- club politics (ex. Dancer X hates DJ Moocow & deliberately sabotages his $$$ by mis-informing new girls abt tipout policy) & jackwagons like this preying on naive newbies in order to pad their own pockets.

I know it's nerve-wracking to walk into a club and audition for the first time, but just remember every stripper had to do the same thing once and was really nervous, too. None of us knew the ins and outs of how clubs work before we started either. You are way overthinking this, and it's making you more nervous! The sooner you start, the sooner you can start making good money! I am sure the club would understand if you went in for an audition but asked to sit and watch for a little while first. If you're hired, the manager will probably give you a mini orientation and rundown of the rules/tipping policies/etc.

If you tell them you're there as a prospective dancer, they should. After all, how can you get hired if they won't even let you enter? Even if your age isn't a factor, many clubs have a rule against single females coming into the club as customers unaccompanied by a male. Informing them that I'm there to check the club out as a potential workplace has gotten me around this rule in every club that had it.

That's surprising. I would have guessed that they wouldn't let her enter as a customer to check it out if she's not 21 because that's against the law. They don't know her or what she's up to so I doubt they'd risk it. Maybe it depends on the club though. I could see smaller or non-chain clubs doing it.

But VioletStarr you're really overthinking it. You don't have to be prepared for every move you make. Don't worry about it too much. I was the same way before I started dancing. But it's not as big of a deal as you think. You just put your clothes anywhere you want on the stage and pick them up when you're done. If the club has you going to a second or third stage after the main stage obviously you wouldn't put them back on, just carry your stuff with you. After you're done you can walk to the dressing room to redress, do so where you're standing, it doesn't matter. And when it comes to tip out just ask. The manager will tell you when you're hired though. So don't worry so much

Even if you can't visit a club before your audition, it's not like the manager is going to whisk you right from the front door right onto the stage to dance.
Between waiting for a manager, them chatting with you about rules and such, getting changed, and waiting for your song to play, you'll have time to catch at least one dancer do her stage show, so you'll be able to see what happens up there.
