    Default Dancing on stage

I have learned floor moves and pole work.... Also working on transitions which are not easy for me.. I know you don't have to be an excellent dancer to work.. But I would like to hustle and preform. So anyway my question is don't you guys ever get exhausted when it is your turn to dance on the stage?

No, because I don't put forth much of an effort on stage! :p Stage tipping is super rare up here, so there's no sense in exerting myself doing pole tricks, and I find they're not very effective from a marketing standpoint anyway. Not to mention the possibility of hurting myself. I put my energy into making eyes at potential customers and moving slowly and sensually, just like I do in my lap dances.

No, not really. I don't put much effort into stage because we have a tipwalk so I get tipped regardless.

I don't put much effort into stage either and I almost always have at least one dance request as I go around for tips. This has much more to do with how comfortable, slow and sexy, I am being (ie: drunk but OP should aspire to be better than me!) rather than pole tricks.

I agree with Lynn above, slow and sexy always made me far more money than athletic pole dancing. I pole-danced hard onstage for my first 2 years dancing and it really exhausted me between sets, meaning my lapdances weren't as good. I then changed my dancing to slow as fuck with heaps of floor work and eye contact, hair flipping and running my hands all over my body looking horny and my income went way up. Way more bookings and way less energy used in a long shift.

Of course very dancer will have their own unique style. As you dance more, you will pick things up from your co-workers and tweak your routine naturally through time and practise/repetition. Your fitness will increase which helps a lot too. It'll get easier, trust me. Whether you dance fast or slow, it becomes smoother and less draining over time as you become accustomed to it.

Unless the club is dead I always put in 100% because I personally love going on stage. I like doing pole tricks too. I feel like the girls who put effort onto their stage sets tend to make a bit more. Customers see them as exciting and energized and happy to be at work, as opposed to the girls who just walk around the pole for 10 minutes. Because we have a lot of girls I usually only go one stage once every 60-90 minutes so its not exhausting. But it can be especially if I'm also doing a lot of dances.

Depends on your club setup. If it's a stage centric club then you'd better do more than walk around the pole. Urban clubs for example. I could never work in one because my stage shows are boring.
Fortunately I have other assets at my disposal and I see no need to exhaust myself for chump change when I can sell dances in the back.
IME putting on a dog and pony show at a non urban club is only moderately successful with civilian vagina. *Yawn*
To each their own. I work smarter, not harder. I exhaust myself at the gym afterwards.

Nope... as a dancer I work out a ton to keep myself in killer shape for the job, so being on stage for 20mins is nbd.

If you're not at a stage-centric club, don't bother doing anything crazy. In my area we get paid for shows so you're expected to have outfits and serious moves. It's not worth exhausting yourself over change, so unless you're in a place where big shows get big tips, take it easy.

I'd rate my pole set as kind of medium-energy: spins and floorwork, occasional invert, definitely nothing crazy. Even so, my body thought it was going to DIE the first few weeks I did this. Then it got used to the routine and now it barely notices unless I take a couple weeks off. Like anything else, your body will eventually adapt.

I pride myself on pole performance and enticing the crowd with tricks, so sometimes I do tire myself out. If I'm feeling energetic and feisty I can get a little wild. On the other hand, I don't feel tired when I dance slow and seductively.
