how far upstate?
I was in a previous life. Only worked one club there though and I cannot recommend it.

Can you get to Toronto somehow? That might be a better plan ; /

I have to admit life greatly improved after I left. It was beautiful out there, but I'm super relieved I got out of there!

I will leave again i'm just super impatient!!!

Same in my case. In fact, after I made the decision to move, I also made the decision to keep moving until I was outside US borders !!!I have to admit life greatly improved after I left. It was beautiful out there, but I'm super relieved I got out of there!
Indeed upstate NY is beautiful from a 'scenery' standpoint, but in terms of economy it seems to have steadily gone downhill since the 90's.
With today's border attention and dancer's licensing requirements, working in Toronto isn't happening without Canadian citizenship.can you find out what you need to do to work in Toronto & then do it?

^^^ actually, the major 'obstacle' has been Canada's recent trend to stop the 'exploitation' of women ... which has resulted in legalized prostitution ( for the prostitute herself but not for her customers ), and also resulted in 100% denial of new Canadian work permits ( plus no renewals of existing Canadian work permits ) for exotic dancers.
see
(snip)As reported by CBC Immigration Minister Jason Kenny and Human Resources Minister Diane Finley have teamed up against foreign strippers and sex workers, making it policy to deny them positive Labor Market Opinions and Work Permits.
This means exotic dancers need not apply if they are foreigners. And for those already in Canada on work visas, your time is running out. Your stay in Canada expires soon and better start packing.(snip)
(snip)Now such applicants will have to look elsewhere for their dreams to come true. The government’s justification for ending the exotic dancer program is that these women are vulnerable to being exploited. Fair enough. But who should be punished? The women? Or the employers? Is it Canada’s job to protect foreign workers by refusing them visas?(snip)

Thanks! Canadadian clubs are more full of prostitiution so they're not for me. But thanks it's funny but I think there is still money in the clubs here. I usually make decent money when I work upstate. I thought that there were maybe more girls on here from my general area.

That's great, Melonie!

Good luck to you, Nyla. I have little insight into club economics anymore, and I don't know anyone making a living solely by dancing in clubs. I know some used to, even in the early-mid 2000's. But I'm not going to clubs as much as I used to go.
I loved going to strip clubs; I actually made some friends there. Now things are different for the clubs and for me. As a result I am not as happy.
Customers are not entitled to grope, disrespect, or rob strippers. This is their job, not their hobby, and they all need income. Clubs are not just some erotic show for guys to view while drinking.

Thanks! I really never have problems with the clubs here. Contrary to popular belief, there's a lot of guys with money even outside of the city. I was mostly trying to get a meet up going. But no offense to anyone on her but so many in this biz have so many issues and mental issues that maybe this is a blessing no one is around for a meet up. I'm far from perfect, but so many ladies I've known from the clubs are such users and serious depression issues that I can't help them even if I tried. I think there are some awesome ladies on here that are more like me. Such as Starling and others that have commented on here. So thank you maybe I should be happy to just meet ladies on here.

Yes, many strippers I've met have serious issues, such as dependencies, repeated bad choices, jail time, prostitution, etc.
But I've met a (very) few who are fun and nice people taking their work seriously. I can be, and have been, a friend to those.

I have seen female posters from upstate, but they are not frequent posters or probably lurk more than they post.
But I agree with you, many times I felt like if I was making a friend naturally in a club something would go wrong. This was the majority. But I've met some good ones though who are nice people and some lurk and/or post here.

You are absolutely right, Starling!
