What’s even more baffling is how I even became one, because I was always supposed to be a Mike. They wanted to reassign me, but the nearest units with 88Ls were too far away for me to reasonably travel for my ATs (especially for what I was paid as an E2), so they placed me operationally as an M, and figured they’d déclassé me at some point, though that never happened… my first AT, I had the “joy” of going to JRTC with a RA unit, my second had me supporting a ROTC function, and my final one had me driving FMTVs in Korea.

They liked to sit about 500 meters out and engage us from there. Apparently the M16s and M4a encountered difficulties at that range, but the M2 didn’t. Just kinda freaked me out a little when I’d see dents in the chicken plate afterwards.

Lol, sounds like the Army alright. 88M is a good gig though. I had a squad of those under me when I was a Commander. Good folks. Though, they got a bit rowdy from time to time..

88L would’ve been awesome, especially since I never really associated “Army” and “boats”. I really enjoyed AIT. I was in a non-deployable unit, so we got to play with some old timey stuff, as well… aside from the LMTV, FMTV, HEMMT, and M915A2 and A3, I also got licensed on the M35A2 and A3, as well as 800 and 900 series 5 tons. We also had M1008 and M1009 CUCVs and 998 and 1113 series Humvees.

Yeah, me too. He was 95, though. People tend to die at that age. Maybe we should just be happy we had him as long as we did.

It's actually not a bad price, Xbox 1 X is comparable, but make sure his Video Card can handle it or you'll wind up spending 1000$.

He's got monster computer. It's a couple of years old and can still handle anything at full resolutions.

Still, it needs TWO HDMI ports, if he doesn't have that, he's going to have to buy one that does. You will need to physically look at the back of the computer, they need to be side by side or one atop the other on the same card.

He can have a monster computer and still not have the right Graphics Card. It needs TWO of these. If it doesn't have two HDMI ports on the same card, he's going to need a new video card that will likely cost 500$ unless you can get a really good deal on newegg (mine was 400$ but that was a steal).

His computer has a nice video card but I'm not sure it has 2 HDMI ports. I'll have to check that out.

Ok, i straight up might be wrong. They've gone through several generations and i bought a second generation that needed 2 HDMI ports (One for the Occulus and one for the HDMI monitor, but there's another kind of funky monitor connection. If your BF has this rig, he might be ok, But you'll need to look at the connections. If his monitor needs an HDMI port, you're out of luck.

    NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 (6GB)

This card (at over 300$) is low end for the Occulus.

    Avengers trailer?

    Yes.

Did not know that Thanos killed half of all living creatures.

Really like that we get to see life in a Post Snap World for a while.

Gonna guess Cap AND Tony die for good.

I wonder if we'll get to see Barbara Gordon, too. Maybe she's Oracle by now?

They should merge all the shows into CW's version of "Justice League." Crossover was so much more fun to watch.

Where was Nora during all this?
