So I have my pleasers which are a few months old, and oh god they make my feet stink so bad. When I'm doing a dance I swear the customer can smell them. Would rubbing baking soda in them help? Ugh any advice?

I have the same issue but it is because I use my shoes for so long. I carry a foot spray in my bag with me. I spray the soles of my shoes as soon as I get in the DR so it can set in while I get dressed. Then spray my feet before putting them on. At the end of the night I spray the soles again and put them in their box. It helped so much!
If they really stink bad make a solution of 1 part vinegar to 2 parts water and put it in a mini spray bottle. Like a TSA approved bottle. Give the soles a quick spritz and let them dry. Vinegar is an awesome natural deodorizer.

As Above, plus, put them in the top shelf of dishwasher (as long as they are a plain pair) and let them dry in sun.
The other thing you can do is buy the adhesive padded insoles and replace them once they start to smell.
Put the shoes in the freezer overnight to get rid of most of the smell then go get the minty eucalyptus foot spray from The Body Shop!

I don't know why because I don't sweat much in general but I sweat SO MUCH on my feet. And they STINK. I would have to buy new stripper shoes once a month only working 2-3 shifts a week.
A girl in my club recommended these and I can't live without them now: http://www.summersoles.com/shop-womens-suede.html
They are extra sticky and don't slip and are meant for people who have medical condition level sweating. I think if you order the bulk pack they are like $5 each. Each insole lasts me at least 2 months and now all of my stripper shoes last over a year (until the plastic top has stretched out too much)
Even when the insoles get to the point of needing to be replaced it's not because they STINK (this amazed me how they literally NEVER smelled) but because they kind of get "crunchy" and not soft any more. Probably all your dried up sweat and skin cells... (gross I know)

^ They're what I was talking about. It works + for real, try the dishwasher trick! and then replace with fresh pair of the insoles; obv they need time to dry out and if you need any more infor re this technique PM me.

There is a powerful antimicrobial soap called Hibiclens that is used on patients before surgery. It kills absolutely everything and continues to be effective for 12 hours. You can buy it at the drugstore and if you use it on your feet daily, you will no longer have this problem. You might have to start fresh with a new pair of shoes, though. My shoes never stink anymore, and they were BAD!
