    Default Help with webcam tech

I can't for the life of me figure out what is wrong with my webcams? They are both doing the exact thing.. Like wavy? I dunno how to explain it. I got a new monitor and now both my webcams look like shit.. Can anyone tell me how to fix the waviness?
Or do I need new webcams? They can't possibly both be broken. I think it's kinda like a flicker?

Can you make adjustments on the monitor? Is it an led monitor? If so check to see if it has any chips or scratches. I would think if it happened with a new one that its the issue and not the webcams.

well I watched a video on Netflix and it seemed fine to me.. No problems.. that's why I am wondering what is wrong with my webcams then? It's not crystal clear either like it was before.
Yea it's the HP 27VX new led monitor that they just came out with I think? I just looked at myself on the laptop and looks ok to me..LOL.. maybe I am going crazy and expect to much perfection.. I dunno?..lmao

Sounds like a monitor adjustment is needed, maybe refresh rate or something, not sure. When you hook up your old monitor again can you see the flicker?

I am not sure that is even the issue but maybe worth a try. Careful to check that your monitor supports the rate you choose.

Also maybe go to HP's website and punch in your model number and see if their support options have any info.

Could it be the video card? I'm sure I had something similar ages ago and it was either the video card was loose or clashed with the software I was using. The lines in the screen didn't show on the screen shots either!

Eta: graphics card not video card!!!
