Default Lashes - individ. or strip?

Or both? Not @ the same time, lol. I got the Elf individ. for cheap to try..that knot @ the end is a pain, then I saw another brand has knot free..
They seem like more work than the strip lashes, but actually I had a little better success w/'em, more getting the placement right on my eye..
What do you think? I have Dior mascara, I like it & I have other good ones, Benefit but none of 'em compare w/the lashes

I can never get individual lashes to stay straight! What is the secret?!

So, naturally I prefer strip lashes. I get the ones that are soft and feathery and I trim them by about half.

Yea. True. I ended up w/lash in center of lid, lol.
I found a cute strip lash pair I'd stashed, from Sally's w/glitter. I always have to 1/2 'em, my eyes are tiny lol

How about eyelash extensions? From what i hear those are amazing and they last a month if you take care of them which makes me think its quite a good investment

I've never tried using the individual ones but I've thought about it just to see if I like them. I get the kiss brand real hair lashes from Wal-Mart and those have been easy to put on and they stay on good. The biggest issue I have is I always get the glue stuck in my real eyelashes and it takes forever to get it out, its such a pain. Also I've noticed since I've been wearing fake lashes (like 2 months) my real lashes are getting really thin, like I think I'm pulling them out when I remove the falsies and then I have half my lashes all matted together with glue lol. Now I'm addicted to wearing my lashes but frustrated at the trouble they're causing.

I use ardell whispies strip lashes or kiss #11 strip lashes with duo glue. They both look pretty natural. Took me a loooong time to get the hang of getting them on but now it's quite easy. I get them in packs of 4 or 5 at Walmart.

I use both, I like both; It took my 3 nights to get the technique for applying individual lashes but I remember it being a PIA when learning to apply strip lashes too.
It costs $80 for a full set for one month of extensions- its far more economical to use falsies (In Melbourne), also, I rub my eyes too often- I think I'd rub them off!

I can't do indivd. I'm too lazy, and I got no time for that.

    I recently purchased this: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00...ilpage_o04_s00

    I love them.

Haha yep too lazy here to do individual also. I dread putting on my strip lashes even though I've gotten it down pretty good how to put them on now. I've heard a good use for individual lashes is to not put a full eyelash length of them on but only put on a strip or two on the corners of yor eyes to enhance them and not be as dramatic as a full set. I like the dramatic look of the full set at work but I'm thinking of trying to put a couple individual ones on for a regular outing.

There's the glue, that popular brand which name escapes me - they have a 'natural' glue that's supposed to be better, gentler. Also, it comes in a brush on formula that's easier to use than that tubel.
I don't have it here w/me, my stuff's in storage, when I come across it, I'll let you know. I bought it @ Sally's.

^ Thanks. Yeah the glue is killing me. I'm trying to just take them off and put them on without glue first wear. I also am finding eyelashes today( andrea brand and another) are crap! They don't even match so you look like you have two completely different numbers on.

I recommend eyelash extensions, and if you use lashes more than once a month I REALLY recommend them. If you pull your lashes out during a growth phase they will stop growing back. My hair stylist was a competitive dancer as a teen and she's missing half her lashes, huge hunks gone, because she wore strip lashes to competitions.
I've been getting extensions for about two years now and I love them, it might sound like a lot of money but completely worth it.

I kinda already pull out my eyelashes when I'm stressed, so it really doesn't matter to me.

Yeah, if you go to someone who isn't certified to do it, it can. I really like my lash stylist, she doesn't over-glue, uses lash appropriate lengths/weights for my type of lash (very thin). I think a lot of bad experiences people have are from stylists who slap on a ton of glue, glue lashes together and try to use the longest and thickets extensions possible, without regard to the lash type.

Never tried individual lashes but I love strip lashes, quick and convenient. I love Ardell's and order them off Madame Madeline in bulk, much cheaper than buying them at the drugstore. I use the Duo eyelash adhesive.

When you put on the lashes, you're supposed to get them as close to your lashline as possible but glue them on your lid, it should never be glued to your real lashes or you risk ripping them off when removing your falsies.

That's the glue I use that irritates me. They have a clear. I wonder if it's better because I believe I had the ardell lashes and glue and that glue was watery and really smelly. Aredell and andrea both are crappy to me. When I take them out of the thing sometimes a few lashes stick out and will not lay back normal. Ugh. I wasted 3 pair last trip because of that.
