Default Hair Product for Curly Hair

Hi, I was wondering what are good products for curly hair.

My favorite is by La Bella, called Lots of Curls. It does well over a shift, but definitely loosens after flipping my hair around. Actually I'd say it looks great after several hours, but loses its zeal.

I've never done well with a curling iron, but I've experimented with hot rollers. Really only scrunching my hair with hair gel seems to work for any extended period of time.

    Any Suggestions are welcome!

Frederic fekkai shea range. Can leave hair bit too heavy/greasy though but its one of the best shampoo and masks ive ever used for my curls. Its cheap asf in USA too!

I recently tried the redken 'curvaceous curl' range and do not like them, leaves scalp w dandruff yet greasy its weird.
I comb my hair wet in shower w wide comb, don't think its recommend but works for me!

I usually use hair spray or coconut/argan oil n put tiny bits in for fly aways at work. I think if you take lots of care for curls w washing n conditioning then frizzines etc at work is waaay less an issue.also john freida frizz ease styling spray is really good for work too. Calms without the greasey look unless you put too much on.

CVS drugstores carries a lot of products for curly hair (they seem to pick up the slack where Wal Mart leaves off in terms of specialty products, but FYI Wal Mart does carry salon brands.)

I love my curling wand for curling hair. Takes some practice, but it's fast and the curls stay well.

Curl enhancing mousse from Design Essentials is really good and it doesn't make your hair hard. You can also pair it with some Care Free Curl to keep it moisturized and let it air dry.

If anyone is considering forking out for Ouidad, I tried a couple of the products recently and will not repurchase as I think they're very overpriced for the quality.

I quite like the leave in conditioner but it's no better than any leave in I've tried that is 1/3 of the price. The curl amplifying spray is just not very effective for me and leaves hair a little bit crispy. I am putting that on eBay to try to recoup some of my £20(!)...Frizzease dream curls spray is similar and around 1/4 of the price.

I guess it depends on your hair type. I'm of African decent so I use natural products like Shea Moisture, As I Am, Mixed Chics, and a few others.

I've been using this stuff I got at Giant grocery called Twisted Sista. It works great!

Kinky curly is the holy grail of curly hair products. For me at least. And I'm geeked they came out with a deep conditioner recently. It's the only shampoo that gently removes buildup keeping dandruff at bay. And the styling gel zaps frizz like nothing else I've tried. Plus it's all natural and can be found in whole foods.
