    Default Canada Vancouver vs Toronto

    Hello Ladies

I'm considering relocating to Canada, also because I am fed up with the country I'm currently based in and I hope I can change my business to some more upscale clientele (longer bookings).
Can some of you give me some insight? How is the economy in Canada and which city is better for escorting (higher rates etc)?
I am actually planning to increase my rates to 900USD for a 2 hour minimum but I know, it highly depends on your location if you get enough work (I am also sort of picky with clients).

Can some of you give me more insight, please?
I'd appreciate a PM if you don't want to share info publicly.

    Thanks a lot

I'd like to add that I was going for Toronto, but I've read somewhere on this forum that Vancouver might be a better idea.
Montreal is also not supposed the best place, I heard. Hmmmm….

Vancouver has the highest cost of living in Canada, so I would hope that the escorts there can command a higher rate than elsewhere simply because of that. Still, a lot of your money will go towards your housing expenses, so while your overall earnings may be higher there, you may not really have that much more at the end of the day.

:-) I have already looked for apartments and realized that. However, I lived in NYC, London and Switzerland, Vancouver apartments are still cheaper than in any of this cities.
You can make 4000+ a week in NYC or some places in Europe. So NY definitely pays off if you can take the stress of the city. But I'm not sure how Canada works. If you have too many bargain girls, many guys refuse to pay higher rates. Also brothels in Switzerland and parlors in London aren't really helping.

Are you allowed to use your apartment as an Incall without getting legal trouble?
I don't take more than an Incall per day if so, but sometimes I like to welcome special clients at home. In NYC it's supposed to be a problem I heard. Never tried it though…far too paranoid.

I am in Canada and have worked as a high end escort in Vancouver and Toronto amongst others.

Vancouver is good, expensive to live but not much more than Toronto. The main difference is Torontos market is saturated where as Vancouver there are less providers but that is changing slowly. I found Vancouver to be much busier. The busiest city is Calgary with lower cost of living, very few quality provider, and the city has many traveling gents as well as I believe the highest number of the top earning 1% in Canada. Montreal is just really bad, dont try there but I'd say Vancouver is the best, plus its only a short distance to travel to Calgary for tours etc.

I visit Toronto every year around this time, I really love the city, but because its such a great city I've never really had time to enjoy the escort scene. Maybe this year I'll have time. From the client side I just searched P411 for Toronto and only saw 80 providers - this is a very small number of providers for that size of city, this is what I typically see in a small US city (like 1 million people). About half with logins this month, so P411 is active. Maybe P411 isn't really the right site for Toronto, but it doesn't look crowded. I did see a few minimum 2 hour type advertisers: $900/2 hour rates, many were grouped around the $400 range and then some as low as $300 and some as high as $500/hr. Not sure that's at all helpful, but thats the rates I'd see as a client. I'm thinking that providers might advertise other ways in Toronto. Good luck.

    Hey
I think my question is not related to any of those but I don't know where to post.
I started escorting a month ago and I enjoy doing this. However, English is not my first language so I didn't communicate much with client or I would say I don't feel I am sexy enough when I speak to them... Anyway when I am doing that, I think I am too young for the industry ( I meant I didn't know much about porn, sex language, etc.) do you know anywhere I can find information about to be a professional escort? Such as sex words, definition, conversation ( both normal and sexual) I am in Toronto btw.

Don't TRY being an escort. Men find it much more interesting if a woman doesn't use the typical escort language or behaves like one.
Being young is very very good. You can charge even more and I really mean ALOT.

Be careful that nobody takes advantage of you because many people will try.
Become a high-priced escort and you will attract respectful and very lovely clients and never try to put on a show.
    You don't need it yet.

This is client side, so take it from that perspective. Escorting is like many other professions and trying to conform to a supposed successful stereotype is not usually the answer, when what one needs to do is find their own style and their own way too success. Yes, look for best practices, but try and create your own 'escort persona'. For instance, I typically seek out providers that are well traveled, I like accents, I like cultural diversity, I enjoy some of the interplay that occurs with a partial language barrier. For multi-hour appointments recently I went out with an Eastern European, slavic accent, and some very pronounced cultural differences - yet, she introduced me to some very cool photographic art and was one of my most enjoyable dates. You're multi lingual, even if with some challenges, first be proud of that fact. Embrace what you know, embrace yourself, your skills, your personality, build a persona from that and put some of that forward in a positive way toward your client and you should get positive back. I guess what I'm saying is stop apologizing for what you think are inadequacies and try and take any of what you see as deficiencies and use them. I would be careful with saying 'too young', scares me off right away, conjures distasteful Thailand'ish scenes, and you might attract exactly the wrong kind of clients, this is just my supposition, someone else might could chime in. Adult youth and energy are definitely a selling point that 'collegiate girl' type locally seems to stay super busy.

Good luck, be proud, and don't think of everything as a weakness.

And you are at the right place for finding information on escorting, read some of the stickies at the top of the 'other' thread. Screening, screening, and screening.

    Hi SarcasticGoldFish
Thsnk you so much for your advice. I went through the pages and found wonderful source of information. I have other questions that should I hire someone to build a website for me? Any book or website train you how to be a high class escort(conversations, etiquette, etc.,...) . I am working with an angency at the moment, and the cut is 60% for me. i am thinking of moving on an Independent Escort so I need to prepare pretty well for this!

    Suzie,

I can help you built a website and become a really good high-priced escort. There are several tricks I had to figure out myself on the long run but you have to decide which one you feel most comfortable with. Most girls start out with very low rates or get taken advantage of by agencies. If you need some sort of manager, contact me.

Nothing wrong with agencies in some places. I prefer independents and am much more comfortable dealing directly with a person and feel much better paying a provider directly. Good luck going independent, you're doing your home work and so I'm sure you'll do great. I've returned from Toronto and only managed one two hour appointment with a young woman who advertised as up-scale (she was very charming and had good conversation game). For two hours she charged $950, which seemed about typical for what I viewed as similar providers. I did get a text and had to leave a bit early, so I couldn't relax and enjoy conversation as much as I'd hoped. She had a downtown in-call hotel that was four stars. One appointment does not reveal a market, but the time/rate seemed about right to me.

Found her on P411, advertising under the Visiting search option since she came from a nearby city on tour. I selected a traveling escort who noted she'd be downtown, convenient to the entertainment district, available for multiple hour, and upscale incall. I couldn't do an outcall this trip.

I did look at advertising on ECCIE, which I don't prefer as a source, but didn't see much activity anyway, nor did I see the type of companions I prefer. I did see that the agencies advertising in the back of one of the printed monthly magazines found free in street machines, that sort of thing feels like Russian Roulette to me. I didn't check TER and didn't need it since P411 worked so quickly in prescheduling for me.

I'm a Canadian and am curious to the original poster, where are you from? I'm not sure how easy it is to just move to a new country without a valid visa.
I wanted to live in the US for a year and make bank and save up since the Canadian dollar is worth under 70 cents to the dollar ! But getting down there legally is another story..
I'm not sure what Canadian clients would pay in US dollars.. that would mean them paying an extra 30% with the dollar conversion. There's alot to think about.. I'm in Calgary and with the current economic status with oil and gas- two words.. stay away. Most are struggling here.
I live here but have only 1 client, the rest I do are trips with my lovers in other cities.
    Anyhow, just my 2 cents
