Has anyone used (or seen at your club) hula hoop dance during your set? I am a hoop dancer and would like to possibly incorporate it, if I start stripping again. I have heard of a few people doing it, not in my area though.

Oh cool! I've never seen it at the club but that would be awesome. I have a couple of friends that are good at it but they never did it at work. You should do it!

I remember that thread too. I've actually seen girls hoola hoop onstage 3 or 4 times. They were really good at it but sadly the guys weren't nearly appreciative enough![]()

Novelty acts can be good. If your club allows it go for it. The nonspenders can be entertained while the sharks are getting their money in VIP.
I've seldom seen this sort of thing be lucrative unless it is part of a feature act or theme night.

I think it majorly depends on how you want to make your money. Some girls love putting on stage shows and put less of a focus on selling dances, whereas others are the opposite (I do very little on stage and focus 100% on selling dances). I must say that in my extensive experience, stage girls make LESS money than hustlers.
Of course, you can aim to do both - focus on stage and hustling - but that's tough to do. If you're putting a big show on while on stage, by definition, you're less focused on connecting with individual customers who could buy dances later. And generally focusing on stage tricks will attract guys to you who are less interested in intimate, one-on-one time, and are more interested in tricks. So you'll be more likely to attract customers to you who don't necessarily want dances, or who are looking for gimmicky dances where there is less of a connection and it's more about the 'show.'
Again, this is based on *my* experience. There are of course girls out there who can and do do it all, quite successfully. I'm speaking in generalizations.

Dog and pony shows can occasionally be lucrative with the uterine sector. I wouldn't quit my "day job" to pander to them, though. They have to be drunk, in a large crowd and in the right mood.

A girl at my club hoop dancing on stage. She's a major raver and it's fun to watch. She only brings it out when it's slow, when it's busy she does regular stripper dancing.
I'd say save it for when it's slow and if it goes over alright invest in a bad ass LED hoop. But i'd stay normal stripper when it's busy unless the crowd seems right for it.
