So, I need advice on how to keep a really really good customer.
Here's the story. He has a history of picking one dancer and always being with her and then after a few months never ever speaking with her again. I have seen at least 3 of my friends go from being his number 1 to less than dirt. It's been a year and a half since I met him. At first he would hardly tip me when I went around but slowly as I've been able to talk to him a little while the other girl is on stage or the bathroom we have gotten to know each other. Anyway, I'm not his number 1 but my tips have been going up and I know for a fact the last time he came in and did hours of VIP with the other girl but she got wasted and passed out an hour before closing. I stepped in and just drank and partied with him and another girl for the last hour but she didn't last either. He paid us on his card and I saw the sheet and he gave me 5 times more than the other girls.
How do I keep him? From observing other girls with him, he seems to make them feel special until they think he's only there to see them. They get bold and start spending his money and ordering bottles and demanding how much they want. He doesn't come when girls text him and actually makes a point NOT to come if you do text him. He is also a regular at other clubs and loves drama and people fighting over him. I try to be as drama free as possible.
This makes me think I definitely do not want to be that girl. I didn't give him my number or ask for his because I know I will see him again. I'm thinking I should give him some space and not smoother him so that my shelf life with him will last longer. Or should I just be like every other girl and accept the fact that I have a couple months to drain as much money from him as possible? That's what I do with most customers but honestly he is the biggest tipper I have ever had by far.
Sorry for such a long post but thanks in advance for any advice.
