    Default WishList Help Please...

I was wondering the best way to make a wishlist. I have searched the threads and was confused by conflicting info.. Some help would be much appreciated.

Is Amazon a big no no or is this fixed now?
Is Delivery Code now the best option?
Do you guys only take E Cards?
Where do you put your wishlist link? Twitter?

I appreciate any and all help. Thank you so much!

I love Amazon, but don't use my real address - either get a P.O. box (they can be pricey, but also look around your town or the next town over for some local P.O. boxes, they can be as cheap as $10/month) because if the client buys you a gift, there's a chance they'll get a receipt with your gift address on it!

I used Delivery Code for a bit, but one of my regulars complained that there's no 'Add to Cart' function (making him pay for shipping multiple times) and after a few purchases, his credit card shut off because they were afraid the site was fraud? I have received gifts from Delivery Code, but decided to stop using it.

I currently only take eCards because they're immediate and I can load them immediately!

Twitter is great for all kinds of promotion, including wishlists!

Delivery code is awesome. I just got a package from my wishlist today with no issues. It's more secure than Amazon as far as keeping your address secret. My package even came with my performer name on it rather than mine. The customer service is super helpful and fast. The only cons are I think they charge the customer a little more and you can't add items from everywhere on it. I can add everything from Amazon but when I try added it directly from the site ( Dell.com, best buy.com, Adam&Eve etc.) I can't. I say it worth it. I'd rather have the extra security I can get.

What would be the function of the wishlist? Just as a general tributes/random gifts list for clients, or for specific props/toys/etc for cam customers to get for you/as a payment option?

If it's the former than you have all the info you need above. But for the latter... I recommend Amazon GC's. A customer can ask for a refund on any inventory item they purchased from your wishlist, but they can't with a GC. You also just need an email- not the email you're signed up with on Amazon, any cam/throwaway email will do. Just calculate the entire cost of the purchase after shipping/taxes and ask for that amount from the client, or if you are accepting it as payment for a show, set your price to whatever.

    Hope this was somewhat helpful.

Delivery Code sucks. I still have items that were bought for me 2 months ago still in limbo and there's nothing I can do about it except wait.

I'm back to Amazon. I use a reshipper to give myself a Portland mailing address and they redirect my gifts to my real address. Oregon is great as a reshipping address because there are no taxes for the guy who is buying you the gift. Also, I have no worry about third party Amazon sellers because I don't use my real address.

I've been looking for a good out of state reshipper (assuming you're not in Oregon, or is that wrong?) Mind if I ask what service you're using? You can PM it to me if you want, or if you don't want to share that's fine too, just thought I'd ask.

Here's the referral link to my reshipper Reship.com http://reship.com?rf=4bxdSy3gFuyWwc/...CL+qt+FcX9wC4=

Feel free to use it or not...it gives your $10 off your first reship, it's a great service and cheaper than having a post office box as long as you don't have a too many gifts at a time. If you tend to get a lot of gifts all the time, a PO Box is better.

I had a similar issue with deliverycode hyori. Someone purchased a gift for me like the first week they were in business and after over 3 months, still hadn't received it. When I contacted them, they sent me the shipping info stating it had been delivered (and what time), but I know for a fact that it never was because I was sitting right next to my front door all day waiting for ANOTHER package I needed to sign off on (the latter was delivered). I have had other deliverycode wishlist deliveries that have successfully made it to me in a timely manner, which I'm happy about.

Despite it's flaws, I do like that you can add gifts from anywhere & that your address is secure with delivery code. Their customer service can be frustrating if you have an issue with a package though. :/

I'm currently using Amazon, but shelled out the money for a P.O. box that is less than 10 mins down the road. Much easier. Oh that reminds me...I need to stop by there and get my new kitty ears out of it lol.

    Love my Amazon

    Hi ladies,

I'm so sorry that you're having issues with DeliveryCode! If you guys want to mail your usernames and/or email to [email protected] I'll make sure to touch base with Sarah so she can help you out.

Just to let you know, DeliveryCode has added a store where you can easily add items to your wishlist and we're also adding a new payment system so that it's much easier for your fans to treat you. ;-) There will also be widgets for your site in the near future.

If you have any questions, don't hesitate to ask. I work closely with these guys and have been helping with some of the new features. ;-)

I've contacted Don, (the owner) and Sarah and both keep telling me the same thing, that my items are just not confirmed by the vendor and that the issue is now out of their hands. I'm still waiting for the items. I told them to cancel it, but they say it is not possible. Total, utter, bullshit.
