Had my first audition and the woman who watched me took my info and said she'd call....I'm guessing thats a polite no.

In my experience, usually that is a polite no. If it's somewhere you really want to work, if you don't hear from them, go back in a couple days and if they still say no, ask them to be honest with you and let you know if there's something you need to work on (i.e. losing weight, dancing skills). Otherwise try another club. Good luck!

Hey there BH, haven't seen you on here for a while!
Back to the thread: OP, yes true^. I've been told that also, just keep trying. Good luck.

Sometimes but not always. ...at my present club they told me they'd call me. I was "Sure, whatever." Next day I get a call and now I'm at a great club where everyone has teeth.![]()

More often than not it usually is a polite "no", but as the last poster said it isn't always. A friend of mine was told that once and got a call the next day asking when she could start. If you didn't get this one, just keep trying. The more practice you get and the more relaxed you feel, the better it will be.
