Default What City Should I Try?

Hello ladies. I know this will be an irritating question for some but I am hoping someone may feel a little sympathetic and help me out. I am looking for a club and could really use your help.

I am a veteran dancer working in Nevada, where I make great money but it is a hardcore hustle and I am facing serious burnout. In addition to feeling exhausted after only a 6 hour shift, the club where I work takes about 40% including house fees, tip out, and a 5% cut from every dance and VIP room. In addition to that, this is the only club where I have ever worked where the bouncers make you tell the customer to tip them 20% of the cost of the VIP bill. Meaning, in addition to hustling for a VIP room at a hard hustle club, I also have to hustle a tip for the bouncer! To make matters worse, the management and bouncers are extremely rude if you don't tip them on top of the 40%, which is just plain nuts! Honestly, I feel like I am being straight up pimped out! I can clearly see that they don't pressure the 20% to the girls who don't get VIPs regularly, however; since the economy has plummeted and I am only one of the 5 or 6 girls who still makes money here, they have literally ben shouting at me on certain occasions and begging me for money as I am walking out of the door!

Needless to say, I am facing some serious burnout which makes me miss work at lot. Right now, I am only going in about one or two nights a week which gives me about $1,500+. Although, I would rather work at a club that is consistent and fun making only $250 - $500 daily than feel burnt out after working just one or two shifts per week. The problem is that the economy is just not very good at the moment and on top of money being tight, I now have to try to compete with the girls who are giving extras so they can make more. Since I don't or won't go above and beyond the basic lap dance with a semi-amount of touching and NO kissing, my hustle lately has been strenuous. If I don't find a better club, I could start to have some money problems soon. Does anyone have any suggestions about where I should try?

When I look into a club, I consider the VIPs vs the $20 dances. The VIP rooms are great for making large amounts but can sometimes be exhausting during negotiations. Will do 20s all night if they are easy to get. I would even do a bikini bar wit stage only if at least $250 was the consistent minimum. Here is what I've heard so far:

    Potential Areas to Try
MIDWEST (not sure which states, Chicago or Minneapolis perhaps?)
I have heard this region can be good money because they have VIP rooms. I am not sure if they are high milage clubs or not but am willing to check them out if they are not.

    Dallas or Austin
Heard they are mostly $20 lap dance only but can be very consistent (with good day shifts which is a plus) with no extras going on.

    New York
Heard it was good money but more of the same B.S. that I am dealing with now, although the yelling and begging for money may not be as bad...

    Vegas
Considering going back but it is still a hard hustle so want to try something new first.

If anyone has any ideas for me, that would be great! I know a lot of us don't want to give out our coveted money secrets but if you feel so inclined to help a fellow entertainer out, not only would I be truly grateful but I'm sure you would also have good karma coming your way as well! :-D Thank you soooooooo much! Waiting for your suggestions... :-/

Have you tried a search for those areas? I know there's been a few recent threads on pretty much all those areas.
In Chicago, you'll be tipping out big too.

I have done a search on those areas on both TUSCl and this website. However, based on experience, there is nothing better than a first hand experienced review.

Ever consider the Mid Atlantic/East Coast?

Yes, I am willing to consider all areas. What states/cities did you have in mind?

I'm in Vegas now and I'm from Miami. People need to chill with giving Vegas a bad rap saying it's super hard out here. You want hard? Go to Miami. Money is comparable in Vegas to Miami. I'm at SRLV right now and it's easy.

What? These ALL are first hand reviews. You just have to sift through them.

I agree with you that Vegas is easy money, if you can get the right shift that is. I worked in Vegas for years then took a break for two years and came back. When I came back I was put on dayshift only, which actually surprised me because I am in great shape and am one of the top earners at my current club. I did, however, try out the dayshift at SRLV and there was money but it was a hard hustle because there were very few customers that came through the door. If you are saying it's easy, I am assuming you are working the 3am shift, which is really like stealing candy from a baby. I wish I could get back on that shift but John put my "dayshift only" schedule into the computer.

For now, I am seriously considering Dallas. I will provide a detailed update in regards to my experience after I get hired to help out others who might be interested in what working there is like. For now, if anyone else has any suggestions for me, I would love to hear them. Cheers! :-)

If you only need to make $250 minimum consistently, try San Francisco! Most girls here would say $250 is super duper low, like that's almost unheard of for me. There are definitely a lot of extras and the cost of living is outrageous, but $250 consistently is definitely doable. Shit you could prob even make $250 on stage on a good night.

SF is where I started. I learned to hustle the guys from out of town who didn't know how the club worked which is why I made so much on the weekends. When I first started there, I made $14,000 within 3 weeks before people caught on that I was the good girl and my money went down. After a while, I seriously couldn't take all the extras going on so I left and went to Vegas, where I stayed for a few years. Like I mentioned above, Vegas is great but after taking a two year break I went back to learn that they would only let me work day shift. :-/ Besides, I need a break from that hustle anyway.

To be honest, what I would really love is a bar type club where I can just make money on stage or a dive bar that is super easy to get $20s. That way, I could easily make $250 every night without feeling like I am even working. Do you know of any clubs like that? I know of such a bikini bar in Utah but $150 is the average (unfortunately, $250 is the lowest I will go). There is also one in the suburbs of the Bay area but I haven't been there in years and dancing on that stage was a lot of work in comparison to other clubs.

San Fran is hard, I am open to traveling as well. I am thinking about the places up in Oregon. I am looking into Chicago as well, but I'll have to rent a motel and rent a car (so if you're interested in Chicago... let me know...)

Rosemead, one of the posters above suggested that the tip out in Chicago might be high just like my current club. Although, keep in mind that is only the opinion of one person. I would be interested in checking out Oregon though. That sounds more like what I am looking for right now; lots of tips on stage (there are little to no tips at my current club), easy $20s, dive bars with lots of drinking so it's easy to get the dance and go.

I know it must sound strange that I want to go from Nevada, the VIP room capital to a dive bar, but like I said, I just need a break right now. If it works out in Oregon, I might just go back and forth on a regular basis, or move up there and just take a trip down to Nevada to work for a weekend when I need to pay rent.

Rosemead, if you want to check out Oregon with a fellow traveling dancer, please PM me. However, keep in mind that I doubt you will make "racks" here. I'm sure there is at least one girl who is pulling' in the G's every night, as there is at least one of these girls at every club (I am one of the few of those girls at mine), but I am guessing that the average is probably something like $250 - $300 during the week and only $500 - $800 on the weekends.

Let me know what you think through a PM.

I hear the Philly proper clubs are kinda slow but I'm sitting real pretty in the suburbs. However, PA is schedule Nazi central. My club does their scheduling until the second coming of Christ. (It's a great club, so I see the reasoning behind it)

Hmmm, Philly would be an interesting place to check out if I was interested in going on a little vacation or something. I have never been to the east coast (just the Mid West, Nova Scotia which is east coast Canada, and the Pacific Northwest), so it is definitely on my list. Unfortunately though, based on every review I have read about Philly, the word is that you can only make money there by giving extras, which I personally am not down with. Maybe the suburbs are different...

Daydreams is the cleanest club in Philly. The manager doesn't tolerate extras. Several other members on here have worked at Daydreams. Unfortunately due to my scheduling at my main club I have no time to drive to Philly. I can't vouch for other clubs because I've only ever worked at Daydreams.

I suffered a lot in LV. To the point I was working 6 days a week to clear $2500 A MONTH when I do that in a week in NOLA. I have a hard time competing with high extras though.

There is kind of a secret code to Vegas, which if you know it and follow it, your trip out could be profitable. Many girls don't know this secret code or just choose to ignore it and they leave thinking that the $$$ in Vegas is just a hyped up rumor.

I have not worked there in two years but I am sure things are pretty much the same. The main thing is, working at Spearmint Rino is really easy money if you work the 3am shift. Literally without even trying, or on a bad night, you will walk with about $500 min. HOWEVER, you have to go during the best month's of the year which is the convention season, January being the best. Girls literally quit during the month of December because it's so slow only to come back in January and find themselves overwhelmed by the amount of girls who come out for the convention. If you work on any other shift at the Rhino, be prepared for a hard hustle! If you have years of experience, this should be easy for you, but it is still a hard hustle. Do NOT be fooled by what other girls tell you. I have been in this business for over 13 years and have spent most of those years in Vegas, and at the Rhino in particular. My experience and what countless other girls have told me is the same.

There are many other clubs in Vegas, but again, just be prepared for a hard hustle year round. If you stay all year, you will find that during one particular convention, a group of guys will love your type so much that they will drop racks on you for a whole week! However, that probably won't happen during every event in town so if you don't work at the above mentioned shift at the Rhino, just be prepared for a hard hustle.

There is a club that I am not certain about, which is Treasures. That could be worth a try if you haven't given up on Vegas completely. They are super busy right now with customers and they were in the process of cleaning the place up when I left Las Vegas. It used to be one of the trashiest places in town several years ago and when I got hired there I was so disgusted that I only worked one day and left! But again, they have seriously cleaned the place up and it is busy now. Keep in mind though, I don't know if the girls are still dirty there or not because I have never worked under the new management. It could be worth a try.

In general though, the key to Vegas is to just go there expecting a hard core hustle. Get to know the convention seasons and do your best to get hired onto the right shift, which in Vegas is 3am. Any other shift is the same as working at your home club, most likely, and is not worth the trip out. If you go in with that mindset, you should be good to go. The men who go to clubs in Vegas have some serious money and they go there ready to spend!

Before I end this, I do want to note that it is also possible to make racks in other cities as well. Seriously, I don't think you have to work in this city to make money. If you feel like Vegas doesn't really fit for you, don't worry about it too much. If you travel long enough, you just might be surprised to find that you will eventually land upon a place where YOU are the top girl because the customers love your type. If you find that, you might just make the same as what you could make in Vegas, if not more.

Philly is def on my travel list now for the future. However, if they are "schedule nazis", I don't know if they will allow girls from out of town. :-/

I don't generally advise people to come to AZ... but if you're happy with a lower, consistent income and find yourself wanting to go somewhere again in January, you can consistently make at least $300, Jan--April. Nightly average around then with a reasonable effort is around $500 for most girls, obviously with some going higher. You already having a Vegas-worthy hustle, if you get in at a decent club you could do pretty well, and it's a short drive from NV. Nice weather around then too

Those numbers are good enough for me at the moment. I just need to get out of this bay area :s

^ Do not go to Reno. I'm a top earner and have worked in Chicago, NY, Dallas, Houston, Vegas, Phoenix, Nola, M.B., Baltimore, St, Louis, Reno, Boston, Conn, Denver, all over Florida and I would never go back to Reno buy my tip out is most girls average night. Reno you sat for hours and get 1 guy then an hour later 3 more. It was ridiculous. I worked at Wild Orchid and Mens. There was more potential at mens( I worked one night) and it was a monday. But you cannot work without the 400 license. Wild was a nice club. loved managers, housemom, everyone but I travel to events and I'm use to 500 plus people through the door. Minimum 2-300. I never saw more than 20-30 guys. Except fri-sat but then all the girls from cali come in and it's a younger crowd.

Philly is one of my travel towns. Most clubs do want a schedule but the high end ones will be more flexible and willing to accommodate travel dancers. At certain clubs the house fees can be high. Football season is just getting started so it should be picking up soon. I don't think Philly is really an 'extra' city. Sure some clubs are but compared to other areas like south FL it's not bad.

I lived in LV twice. This last time (September 2014 to March 2015) I tried:

SR: 7pm and 3am shift. Tit sucking open out on the floor and girls physically butting in front of me WHILE I WAS DOING A DANCE and asking my customer if they wanted to finger them. Which they accepted.
Treasures: 9pm shift. All Indians, all the time.
Sapphire: I was hired for any shift. Only club where a guy has successfully licked my boob.
Hustler: Night shift. I didn't tip out what they felt was appropriate so they started charging me "miss stage" fees. I had to quit because they racked up my fees so high.
Cheetah: Best of the bunch, fair tip out etc but just not enough money to justify.

I've been dancing 8 years. I loved in LV 2007-2009 and did fine until the economy crash. Now it's just too disgusting for me to handle.

That's funny you say that I literally just had a conversation with a travel dancer at my club who said I need to try Reno! I was surprised she said that.

OP I'm trying Dallas this weekend I can give an update after I'm back.
