    Default Single mums and childcare

    Hi everyone,

Ive been camming for a while but have grown bored of it and am looking to try dancing.

My issue as a single mum is childcare. If there are any single mums on here, what do you do with regards to childcare? And how many nights a week do most girls work on average?

I had a look for daytime clubs but the only ones I could find near me opened at 2pm with is useless as my kids finish school at 3pm so evening would be better.

    Thanks

I know a girl who used a daycare that offered 24 hr care so she could work the night shift where there's more money.

The thing that sucks about child care is its another steep fee ontop of the fee you will pay to the house. Say you have to pay $100 house fee to the club then 7 hours worth of childcare roughly $75. So if you can get family to watch the kid for free or someone who will watch the kid for discounted rate you will be much better off financially.

Just make sure caregivers are trustworthy and licensed

Sending my kid to daycare would have been way too expensive and I hated the idea of him being at a 24 hour daycare when he should be at night so I found him a babysitter. IMO, it's easier if you find someone who can watch your kid at your place. After a long night at work I needed to be able to go straight home after work. I fell asleep behind the wheel way too many times. You might be better off than me though since your kids are at school during the day.
