    Default Logitech C930e Issues

    Hey,

Couldn't find this anywhere else. If it needs moving please do so.

Just bought the C930e webcam, began recording video and now when I play back to watch raw footage, I can hear the shutter sound on the cam picking up loud on the mic. Tried the computer mic and does the same thing. Has anyone had this issue before and if so, what did you do to resolve it?
    Thx!

I'm not going to be of much help sadly, but I have the exact same problem with my c920 & it drives me CRAZY! I've found that if you're using moviemaker, you can change the audio setting to "Emphasize narration" and it helps a bit (though doesn't completely fix the problem).

The only thing you can really do is turn off autofocus. You could always get an external mic that's not too expensive.

Ahh, is that part of it? Yes, I downloaded Logitech Camera Setting software to turn off autofocus cuz it is annoying, didn't even notice the sound. I must have been swearing too loudly while it was 'focusing' aka blurring me out. You have to make sure it doesn't change itself back to "autofocus' too every now and then.

You can just buy a separate mic.

I'm just gonna buy an external USB mic. They're not all that expensive and I don't really have the time to figure it out. Thx for the suggestions
