Unless they ask me to keep them on, I take them off and give my feet a break.

At my home club the rules are to take shoes off during private dances. This came about because girls kept poking big holes in the leather couches with their heels. I don't like this because club floors are gross but at the same time it's easier on my legs to do dances with them off.

Most other clubs I've worked out required you to keep them on though.

Yes, every time unless the customer requests that I wear them which happened only once because he had a fetish.

Huh it never occurred to me until I realized how difficult it is to lap dance in the things.

It depends on your local laws. In some locales removing your shoes is tantamount to a solicitation charge.

Always keep them on unless I'm in a long pvt and my feet aren't toching the floor (strip club floors/carpets are disgusting!!). Also like Tempest said I know in Philly it's actually a health code violation to dance with your shoes off. So some dancers up there I know have been getting fined or yelled at by management.

I don't take my shoes off.

The only problem is if the club has couches maybe I can't stand on them to dance but apart from that I really prefer to leave my shoes on.

I leave them on, to save time, allows me to get back on the floor faster to continue hustling.

I take them off. It's easier to balance when booty shaking and you can do more tricks without worrying about hitting them in the face with your platform.

I typically keep them on, because of the PITA factor of taking them off and putting them back on. Lol but if a guy wants me to turn around (ass facing him) during a dance, I'm inclined to take them off because it's easier to dance that way. Lol it just depends on my shoe. With the strappy kind, I'll just endure the thigh pain

Edit to add: I start to take them off as well toward the end of the night (VIP dances only-- not on the floor) when my thighs start hurting. Lol

It's never really occurred to me to take them off, so I leave them on. I would feel awkward taking them off I would probably fall over or something while I was trying to undo them lol. Not to mention I wouldn't really wanna put my bare feet on the floor.

Huh, I had no idea so many people took them off. I leave mine on so as not to touch the floor and also because it's never occurred to me to take them off. I take them off in VIP sometimes if I'm going to be there for a while and, like others have said, won't be touching the floor.

I've only worked in one club where you could do floor dances, and kept my shoes on there because ew...

But drinks can't come into the dance area any of the other places I've worked and they actually keep them pretty clean so, shoes off. Hooray for mules.

My club has fines if shoes touch the couch for couch dances, so I always take them off. As has always been said, it's nice to take a break from the heels, so that's an added bonus.

I wouldn't eat off the floor in there by any stretch, which is why I wash my feet when I get home.

Well I've been trained to keep them on because that's been the rule at the clubs that I've worked. They don't cause pain unless I'm doing air dances. As awesome as it would be to take my shoes off and air dance, the floors are really nasty and would probably stain my shoes when I put them back on AND I think it looks less sexy to not have my heels on.

I leave them on 90% of the time, because I wear socks and/or stockings and I would slide all over.

Ya strip club floors are just.... Ewwwwwwwww. Plus my platforms are the strappy kind I cannot walk in the backless "slide in" kind of shoes and I give serious props to those who can.

Tired Re: Do you take your shoes off during dances?

I've never worked without wearing thigh-highs of a sort, so I don't mind touching the ground besides them getting dirty. I take my shoes off 100% of the time for dances, we all do. Makes it easier to get closer to the customers without fear of accidental stabbing. We're also squeezing as many dancers/customers as possible on one lap dance couch. Hell--towards the end of a long, drunk shift I'll take my shoes off on 2nd stage.

I take them off! My poor feet need a break. Like others have said, the floor is fucking disgusting, Therefore, I try my best to have my feet not touch the floor when my shoes are off.

Off. Mostly because it's sooooo much easier to dance without them but also the added bonus of taking them off for a little while is nice.

Yes I do. I have pretty feet and my customers never mind, and it allows me to be more comfortable and flexible during dances.

I didn't used to do this until a couple years ago when I started traveling or just working in general at clubs that actually had rules to take shoes off in vip so the heels don't puncture the leather couches.

This might be a dumb question, but everyone who's saying they take their shoes off in VIP because their feet don't touch the floor in there? Why don't you put your feet on the floor in VIP?!
I've worked in a lot of clubs around the world, and the VIP/champagne room setup has always pretty much been pretty much the same as a regular dance room but more private and more expensive. I get that a lot of time is spent sitting and chatting, and you can curl up and take your shoes off then, but you must dance some of the time?
I personally cannot dance without my shoes on, I feel ridiculously clumsy and end up having to stand on my tippy toes anyway, so it's harder work dancing without them! I think I've done it once or twice when guys have paid me to, but normally I wouldn't even consider it.

Off. I wanna give the best dance as possible and shoes don't let me balance right. Especially with a reg I wanna be as comfortable as possible and they prefer it too. I wear slides so they are easy on easy off.

I always leave mine on because I think it makes me look slimmer & better in general. The shoes are a big part of my aesthetic.
