I got the Moonlight mask! I looked into the NuFace but decided on the mask because it cost less and I wanted it because it has blue and green lights too. I can use the green for some spots I have on my hand. So far I love it! Plus it's nice to meditate with the mask on. I use it for my face and neck. It apparently is also good for cellulite reduction as well! Just put the mask over your body part and beam yourself up! The mask plus the hyalauronic acid serum is making my skin look much more rejuvenated, and I've only used it twice.

    Found it here...

Yesssss! Having a separate mask is so nice. I don't have the patience to use something like lightstim or the nuface attachment on individual parts of my face - i use the Dennis Gross mask. Yay!!

Once my temporary hair dye washes out I'm going officially permanently dye it a ginger color.

Has anyone ever gotten their hair done at a ULTA salon? I'm considering it.last time I went to a super pricy salon and it was just ok. I have read mixed things online. It's very convenient for me.

I'd do it. Where I grew up an equivalent salon would be Aveda or Paul Mitchell, which have high standards of quality for their workers.

I think my local ULTA has a salon but I got to a different one, I tend to favor smaller salons where I can pick one favorite hairstylist.

I used to have a NuSkin device. It was a lot like the Nuface device. I just get so tired rubbing a device all over my skin so I'd rather just pop a mask on with some meditation music and chill.

I love my mask. Used it 5 times this week already, so now I need a day off.

    Those mask look interesting.

I made a appointment for Ulta. I really need a professional cut that's why I booked. I normally do my color myself but will let them do both. It's just a tint. I read a good revie on the stylist so hopefully it works out.

I need a cheap solution for removing red body scars from picking scabs or acne scars on the body. I have hydroquinone cream still (I believe) but never applied it to the body and only small dots on the face. Has anybody used this on their body? Worried it's not safe.

The face is more sensitive than the body, so, if it works on the face, works on the body too. But try to apply it on a small area for a week or two and if you don't have any reactions, apply it on the rest of the body.
I have the same problem and I've heard that azelaic acid works wonders. I am gonna use it too, I already tested it on my butt (that's where I sutrggle with most of the acne scars) and I had no reaction from it.
I have read that it takes a few months to make it dissapear tho, so I guess this summer I will coat myself in SPF lotions ))

Exfoliation might be a way to go - do you dry brush? If your skin isn't too sensitive, i recommend dry brushing before your showers, lotion after showering.

You could try an inexpensive glycolic acid to fade the spots:

    https://www.paulaschoice.com/skin-re...t-aha/590.html

Be careful of overexfoliating, though, if you're dry brushing and using glycolic acid.

The Ordinary also sells a very cheap glycolic acid product.

And azelaic acid can be good for dark spots:

I've never heard of azelaic acid. I'll try that. I'm just wanting something that'll work quickly because it looks really bad when I apply self tanner and have to use makeup to cover the scars. Thanks guys!

I just googled Collagen Induction Therapy and I'm confused, is this the beauty industry renaming professional microneedling?

That's my understanding! Home microneedling on the face is kind of a controversial one. Stamps are better than rollers. But home versions are kind of not recommended anymore, for a few reasons. I'm really hoping that we can put together a custom facial of CIT, microcurrent, and LED therapy to complement my home microcurrent, LED therapy, and tretinoin regimen. Professional treatments are obviously stronger, so i want to level up with in-office monthly facials, and maintain between visits with my home stuff. Really just about prevention at this point. I'm hoping CIT thickens the skin on my forehead a bit, as i have just the start of some unnoticeable fine lines that i could imagine becoming more noticeable in the future.

    TL,DR - I'm crazy.

So I did my hair at my local Ulta today. It turned out good she did a dry cut in my curly hair then did my roots and treatment. The treatment was Redken left my hair soft.

I usually opt for Ulta. I've had really good and really mediocre experiences, but never a bad one and I've had my hair done multiple times at a few different ones over the years. Plus their point system rocks! I buy a lot of makeup, so usually save up my points and put them towards my hair.

I think my facialist mentioned that if you're prone to rosacea or broken blood vessels, then you should avoid treatments like that, since the huge amount of force coming out of those machines can exacerbate some issues. Not sure if that's relevant to you, but it hadn't even occurred to me until she mentioned it!
