I wish I was brave enough to try lip fillers. The only injectible I've done is botox/ xeomin for my 11s, but taking collages+retinol products have made them a bit less noticeable which is good BC it's getting me through the pandemic.

I've been reading about L'oréal Wonder Water for hair. Has anyone here tried it? It has a lot of alcohol in it which makes me not want to try it and it seems to have mixed reviews. Some people rave about it, others say it makes their hair fall out. Anyone here have experience with Wonder Water?

Just try it! The first time, it dissolves very quickly. Mine are now almost dissolved due to the pandemic, but I can't wait to get them done again <3

So it was just a consultation today, getting the fillers next week!! So excited!! I'm only starting with a half mL, she says my lips have a nice shape & gradual work will help keep the shape & get the results I want. I can't wait!! I also get on OF & see that one of my regulars bought me a $150 Juvederm gift card to use, WOOHOO!!!!!

As far as your staining, have you tried the Crest strips? My dentist actually recommended them to me when I was asking about having them bleach my teeth, they work great and you can cut them up and put them on problem areas if you have specific spots you need lighter. One of my canines has always been very yellow so I'd put a piece of a strip on that tooth every night until it was lightened up to match the rest, then did all my teeth together. That was a couple years ago and I only now am starting to feel like it might be time to use the other half of my bleaching set(I bought one of those two packs). I think my canine looks like it is starting to look a tiny bit yellower again.

And I'm turning into a perfume addict too. Idk if anyone else does this, but I have scents that I like and then scents that I like for ME. Like just because I love a fragrance doesn't mean I will wear it, I like to wear stuff that I think goes with my look.
Honestly, put off your appointment a little bit longer and see how you feel about it. I also feel like the lip filler trend train is ending but I want them for myself and don't worry about trends that much, haha Oh and as for the Botox if you have headaches, I've heard it can help with that. I'm going to talk to my primary provider about Botox in some areas because I get a migraine at least biweekly that lasts 3 days. (Used to be more frequently but I've figured out my triggers) A girl at work even told me that Botox stopped hers completely when nothing else really helped.

I have sensitive teeth & gums & lots of fillings (a few in my front teeth) so unfortunately whitening strips are painful & would get uneven results Sad too because my teeth are pretty straight, the color's just off! My family just has those bad teeth genes lol. I don't think anyone on either side of my family has AMAZING teeth (without work done) now that I think about it. I am getting veneers (likely the no shave ones) after the rest of my dental work is done. Probably not for another 2 or 3 years.

Yeah I don't like wearing heavy florals or light/fresh scented perfumes, even if I like how they smell. I tend to lean towards fruits, gourmands, spices & musks.

I think those are fatty alcohols, not the drying kind.

Par Amour Tujours is my favorite perfume ever and I have a bottle of it just to have it, but I never wear it because I don't think it suits me. It is very bright and feminine and happy. LOL.

I feel like PMD has done a lot of advertising to get where they are with influencers.

I love this professional machine for diamond microdermabrasion. So gross all the gunk that comes out. There's some photos on amazon of what comes off the little pad insert after using it. I kinda lost the pad pack for it so haven't done it in a while but it works great!

I'm a big advocate of gentler treatments over time, and going to a professional for more advanced treatments. It recently came out that skin needling, for example, is really not something you should be doing yourself at home. I wonder if microdermabrasion is similar. Idk, i would go with a weekly chemical exfoliant for great results over time, or for more intense issues like scaring, go to a facialist for a pro- level laser treatment / microdermabrasion. Just my thoughts, not lecturing!

Thank you! Im going to look into this brand. I could buy the one Ive been using for the last two years...but if there's something better? I agree, the reviews come of like paid endorsements for PMD machine. Many of them got the product for free and that's why I came here to ask.

This is the one that stopped working

Completely my fault. I knocked it off the counter and it fell in the toilet. Right now I'm not getting the appointments I once did because I'm trying to minimize the amount of people blowing their covid breath into my face.
