Im new to this site. I need information about at-home-bleaching (skin).
Im not sure if this is the right place to post. This whole site is a bit overwhelming to me as I havent had much time to dive into it. If anyone has helpful tips or can point me in the right direction I would appreciate it.

What's everyone's favorite dry shampoo? I have black hair so bonus points if it's dark or actually disappears when properly used!

Dove (for hair) has a dry shampoo that works fairly well.

Very random but worth sharing- I noticed that my skin looks much better from 1) eating fresh fruits and vegetables 2) getting sun and 3) working out a lot. The difference is huge since in the winter I get very dull pale skin.

It's worth the extra money to add fresh food to your diet.

I saw Lisa Eldridge's video on how Marilyn Monroe used to do her makeup and woww, Marilyn was really ahead of her time The eyeshadow trick is so amazing too - drawing a line fanned out just under your eyelash/eyeliner so it looks like the weight of your eyelashes are casting a shadow.... very feminine and eye-catching. I did this makeup in the club when I worked last (sans Vaseline, cheek contour & red lipstick) and did GREAT I think I'll stick to it from now on! Also doesn't take as long as my other makeup looks which is a bonus.

Artwork is from my most favorite webcomic ever, Lore Olympus

On this topic- I found some info about the makeup brands Marilyn Monroe used (online) & realized that makeup actually cost way more in her day (keep in mind she was using expensive stuff. This was for photos & daily life, not the stage makeup done for her films.) These days we have more options in terms of pricing for makeup.

Beauty Random- slathered myself in shea butter yesterday. It was so needed.

So ya I went down the rabbit hole last night when I couldn't sleep & watched tons of vids about old hollywood glamour tricks the stars used to do. It was so fascinating. I loved Liz Taylor's indulgent diet tricks. I could def eat toast & butter plus OJ in the am everyday

Another trick that Joan Crawford used to do everyday & I've heard works was the splashing her face with ice cold water 25 times. Apparently it shrinks the pores?

Unless you have a gummy smile, do not do this. It will elongate your phyltrum and make drinking from straws awkward. You won’t see much difference at all. Get fillers or threads.

Thanks. I ended up doing it a few months back, and yep did absolutely nothing other than than make it awkward to eat and drink. I got fillers last month, but still dont see a much of a difference, she told me for my top lip I will have to build it up gradually so I should come back in 6 months or less if I want to see a bigger difference in volume. I got juvaderm
