The problem with skincare is its marketed to everyone, regardless of concern or age..

I get that procedures come into play, but can't afford right now..

So, trying to go the clean skincare route..

^yes, it's almost disappointing to realize that there are very few skincare ingredients that offer real results. Tretinoin is one of them, and it's extremely inexpensive.

Yes, it's the prescription form of retinol. A tube lasts forever since you don't use it every day. And there are sites that offer tretinoin prescriptions if you don't have a doctor, like Curology. I've heard good things about them, though I've never used their service since i get tretinoin through my insurance.

Anything that gives real results takes consistency and time. Tretinoin will take 6-12 months to show significant results, and 1-3 months for modest results (like clearing acne). But most people take a lot of time to titrate onto it, since you'll definitely have side effects if you rush into it (peeling, redness). Most people never go onto it because they fear side effects, but retinols are one of the only things that's been proven to address real skin problems, like acne, scarring, aging...

People would rather buy a sexy moisturizer than look into one of the only ingredients that has proven results, lol. Consistent retinol use isn't fun or exciting, but it can't be beat.

Curology is a great option for anyone who doesn't want to go to a doctor or dermatologist for the Rx.

Internet search bb! It's a customized skincare brand that can prescribe. I don't use them but have only heard great things.

Can not decide what direction to go with hair. I know it needs to stay long.
Beyond that it's medium blonde now ( natural color ) but looking dull due to color ( red ) fading out from last Sept.

I can't decide if I should just put more red onto it ( partner loves it and it's unique in the club ) OR if I should go more three dimensional with red , light brown, and blonde tones mixed in.

I feel like once a stylist takes those foil things out you are looking at like 5 years in the chair. :/

Yeah, the multicolored thing sounds cool but could end up looking antiquated, kind of 90s-ish

Carmen, I used a really good color shampoo, in my case I had fading high lights, + I do my own touch ups, (slightly darker base color so it further darkens highlights)

It really made a difference, the color shampoo, brightening up my color.

U may want something different, but just an idea

Same. I was ginger red for a while then decided I wanted a deep auburn, like the deepest shade of red that could be naturally occurring, and it ended up coming out that super fake cherry cola red with a purple undertone color. I think it looks fine on camera but once I'm in really bright light it's just soooooo fake and very 'strippery' I feel so I'm not into it. This is actually the only time in my life that I've ever had a completely unnatural hair color. I just got a lighter warm brown semi-permanent dye, I'm thinking that putting that over this once it fades some more will get me closer to what I was originally wanting. Although now I'm starting to like super bright orangey red shades.....

Agreed, especially if you're doing it for dancing, partially. Men feel more comfortable and attracted ITC when you fall into a definitive category, and it really makes you stick out in club lighting.

I use disposable mascara wands to remove invisible floating hairs from my face. You know how when you put makeup on or have just finished your skincare routine, and you can feel a tiny hair / fuzzy on your skin? Those suckers are so hard to find, and you don't want to wipe your skin products off in your search to remove the hair. Those mascara wands are perfect for removal!

Okay...so any thoughts on these. I had someone today bring up nuubu detox foot pads. (Overnight they turn the foot pads black from detoxifying the body..allegedly). I honestly think it's a hoax but many positive reviews on Amazon from other foot detox pads so I dunno. She's trying to help detoxify his body more because his kidneys and liver are working overtime and getting worse with all of his issues (he's old) and she's trying whatever she can.

He said he felt some sort of release from his body in his sleep from them (dunno if it's the placebo affect)....thoughts or experiences? I'm going to look around for videos on youtube which actually show it is or not a scam. That's so fucked to be selling these to people if it is fake.
