It depends where they are and how tiny. Best thing is to go for a consultation where the dr can look at your face and then give you an idea of what can be achieved.

I'm using Sunday Riley retinol A+ serum tonight and so far my fa e feels really soft. I have enough samples of it that equate a bottle so hopefully it does something awesome.

I'm irritated I had to cancel a surgery consultation that was meant to be today.

I initially did a brief online consultation with her a couple of months back (she is based 4 hours away) and in mid-March I booked to see her for a full in-person meeting for this Saturday.

TBH I'd found her quite cold/off in the initial online meeting and had thought of crossing her off my list due to gut instinct, but then decided to see if I felt differently after meeting her properly (she would be around 1.5k less expensive than a surgeon in my area).

So on Thursday the secretary emailed asking if I could attend at 12pm instead of 10am - I checked my travel plans and it worked out, so I replied yes. Then at 6pm on Friday I saw another email, sent at 3pm that day, asking to move the appointment to 11am.

I replied saying I'd just like to cancel at that point. I felt they were messing me around - whether it's down to disorganisation or dismissiveness it's rude and just another red flag.
I'm really disappointed as I had put a lot of thought into everything and done a lot of research.

At 11.03 this morning I had a call from the secretary which I ignored - she left a message saying they were expecting me at 11am, so clearly hadn't even bothered to check the email and missed my reply yesterday.

Anyway for whatever reason, it seems my gut instinct was on point as usual.

I took out my IPL device and started a new routine. I need to do 4-5 sessions, every 2 weeks, for seeing results, so hopefully I will be all hair free right in time for summer.
Last time I used it was in 2018, I had great results, but I got lazy and abandoned, lol. Not anymore. This time I am finishing the routine!
I just do bikini, armpits and lower legs for now and probably in october I will do upper legs, moustache and arms.

Well, lucky you! I wish IPL would work for me, but I have barely noticed any effect at all the few times I’ve tried it.

Laser works excellent though, and keeps me 100% hair free 99% of time, which I think is very good! But it’s not pleasant and it’s rather pricey..

I thought laser and IPL it's same shit lol. Hahahaha! Yeah I never completed a full program, I'd get rid of 70% of my hair and call it a success and then get lazy lol. I am curious how it works this time because I plan to do it by the manual.
I also feel a lil burn in my bikini area when I use the device. I'll get slow results there because I have to use on low settings. Level 2-3 out of 5.

Well, if laser works, then it does worth the money. I hate waxing, so permanent removal sounds better, no matter the cost lol.

I wish those devices had an actual big screen so I can cover bigger portions of the skin, I haaaate going inch by inch by inch... the battery barely makes it trough a bikini, armpits and lower legs session. And I am not covering everything (I need to buy a white eyeliner to draw some lines, for better covering).

^yes, girl! That's what I've been talking about on here! Agency is the sister brand to Curology. Agency makes it really easy to get started, and they add other actives to their formulas. I'm using it right now, considering permanently switching off of my insurance-covered tretinoin since Agency formulated mine with other goodies, like tranexamic acid, azelaic acid, and niacinamide.

I severely let my skin go for like a year or 2. All I was using was a face wash. I just purchased a little shower caddy to motivate me to do all my serums and beauty steps while I relax or study in bed.

I noticed I've been getting sunspots from all the years of heavy tanning (thankfully I only self tan now)...I'm so mad at me. I also got more retin-a, hydroquinone, and careprost off of alldaychemist. I'm fighting this battle of aging.

I dunno what motivated me but I'm keeping up on preserving my youth...it was prolly the sunspots on my forehead lol.

I used to have a sunspot on my forehead that would darken when I did tanning bed tans. It went away, thank Dawg.

I'm very happy with the company and process. I feel like they've put more thought into my skin than my doctor did when prescribing tretinoin. I was paying about $10/year for .05% tretinoin (covered by insurance), so if i switch to Agency as my tretinoin, my costs will be going up to $60 every two months. That's a lot for some folks, but I'm fine with spending more on skincare. It's worth it to me since Agency combined tretinoin with other goodies, like azelaic acid, tranexamic acid, and niacinamide... I'm expecting next-level results over time.

I think your experience going into tretinoin will look very different than mine, since i was already using .05% tretinoin every night prior to Agency. Most people go through the "retinol uglies" where their skin looks worse for a while before it looks better (irritation, flaking, acne, more visible fine lines...). It can be emotionally difficult for many who are hoping for overnight results. And i think lots of mistakes are often made when people start using tret. You have to commit to cutting out all other actives (no BHAs or AHAs, no physical exfoliation, cut out harsher cleansers and fancy moisturizers with fragrance / botanic extracts...). You basically want to keep your skincare routine as stripped-down as possible until your skin adjusts. Gentle cleanser, morning SPF, thicker night cream / occlusive ointment... It can be really hard to resist exfoliating when your skin is peeling from tret, but that will make it so much worse... And start by applying tretinoin every other night or every third night to ease into it...

Good luck, will be curious to hear how it goes!! You might be one of the lucky ones who has no negative side effects when starting, who knows!

Just got botox today and I brought up how I wanted skin tightening on my lower jaw. She suggested the Morpheus 8. HOWEVER, I really want to try Face Tite. Anyone try either of these? I'm ready to do it!

Skin tightening . Apparently face tite is more aggressive. I want that Gwen Stefani tight face when I'm old and trying to maintain my face.

But is it an injectable or a laser or what? I think after I finally finish decorating my place I'm going to reward myself by finally trying (facial) botox. I'm gonna find a place that does lasers too so I can get a consultation because my friend said a laser would be best for my undereye lines.

Face tite has radio frequency waves with traditional liposuction and is minimally invasive in the jaw. I saw a few celebs with it and I want it. One was a Baldwin.

The thing I've noticed is that the few lines that follow the shape of my cheekbone and start turning downwards below the outer lower corner of my eye (like an upside down smile shape) are really reduced, but there is always still the one deeper crease almost directly under each eye that remains, and it essentially looks slightly deeper as a result of the treatment.

Not sure if this makes sense, I will try taking pics later if I can.
I can't really get good pics but this is smiling and at rest. The line is actually longer than it looks here but the light hides it a bit.

I found a new sunscreen I like! It goes on smooth, and doesn't pill on your face. It's the Equate brand SPF 50 for babies. I found it at Walmart. Doesn't sting my eyes or have an overpowering scent. And a full size is under $4.
