Hey Dancing Diva!
I've been getting my lips done since I was legally allowed. lol I usually like Juvederm Ultra Plus the best. I feel like JUP gives me the longest lasting result and overall is the most aesthetically pleasing compared to other fillers such as Restylane/Perlane. The pain is bearable but, for me even with numbing cream, it's still very uncomfortable. The first few days the filler feels kind of weird and then it settles. Be sure the doctor massages your lips so you don't get bumps/nodules. I've never had an allergic reaction or gotten sick from getting injections. I had swelling last for just 24 hours to a week. After the first week or so your lips will come down in size. Another thing to consider is lip filler doesn't always last a very long time. I get my lips done 3-5 times a year if I want them very pouty and full. Even with getting my lips done a lot they still aren't quite as big I'd like them. I also considered lip implants since they would last a lot longer than injections and would save me a butt load of money. However, I have to wait over a year for all the filler to come out of my lips and worry that the lip implant could possibly rupture. I pay anywhere from 550 - 800. This is just my personal experience and results can vary drastically from person to person.

I was looking into getting a lip lift, but I decided to get an implant first to see how it affected my face. If you end up reconsidering the lip implant, I can send you before and after photos if you'd like. I got it done on Thursday and was back to work by Tuesday. The procedure itself took 15-20 minutes for one lip and just required numbing shots; one lip cost about the same as two syringes of injections. I've never done injections, but my PS recommended either Juvederm or Restylane for my particular needs if I decided not to do the implant.

I've been getting mine done for about two years now and for me it lasts roughly about 6 months and I personally found Juvaderm to be better than Restylane (but preference and product longevity varies from person to person). It's uncomfortable/slightly "ouchy" but not unbearable (they use either numbing cream or a block).
Some people experience bruising, I haven't really (just a little swelling-I usually get it done in the morning and work that night) and usually I can slightly feel the product for the first few days/week and then it feels normal. The swelling only lasts a couple of days (you might get lip greed when it goes down and want to go in for morelol) and if you ice it post procedure then it will go down a lot faster.
The cost really depends on where you go/how much you get or how much you want to enlarge your lips. For example, I only pay $400 for mine because I don't get a lot and I have friends who have big, luscious lips who pay $600-$800-so, again, it depends what kind of look you wish to achieve.
It might be a good idea to go for a consultation to get a quote and also an idea of what to expect.
