Default U.S. Android/ Iphone App Users Only : Make a quick $5 and keep making $$$

There's an app (Invitation Only to receive $5)

It pays $5 to you and anyone that you refer that downloads and signs up for the app.

Australian company that provides a way to send and receive $$ peer to peer without the ridiculous fees. They also send you a free mastercard debit card as well. "Checking Acct Linking is Not Required so you can skip that step entirely"

All I need to send you the app invitation to make your first $5 is your mobile number. Once you complete the process you'll get to a your balance which will show $0. I'll send you a test amount of $1, You send that test $1 back. Then we both receive $5

Remember this is for Android or Iphone only. US Mastercard Debit Will be shipped to you within 3-4 weeks.

Obviously you shouldn't respond with your number here but you can pm your number and I'll send you the invite. Remember this is invite only because if you attempt to download the app yourself you will not receive the initial $5 credit.

App Name is Called Chimp Change. Yes I know funny name but I just received my mastercard debit card today. I also tested it out and I'm up to $10

What I like? It's easy and fast. I figured this would be a long drawn out process but I received my $5 every time

Who's interested in giving this app a try?

    Any questions? Respond Below.

I would be interested in this but I'm always a little skeptical of these apps. There's a few apps I have thought about downloading but after reading reviews, most people complain that the app screws up their phone and some people even said their phone completely quit working because of apps similar to this. I'll look this one up and see what reviews I can find and I might try it if good things are said about it.

I've been leery of certain apps myself so I completely understand the worries. Just make sure if you're interested in this one DON'T download directly. Make sure to pm your number so I can send you the invite and we both make $$$

Sorry. Sounds like bullshit to me. In other words... a scam. Just my opinion.

I created an account to jump in here. I too was very skeptical of receiving $5 for recommending someone to an app. Last month I tried another app and was amazed that it was an instant transfer type of thing. Now I used it for my own purposes and a week later did a little more digging wanting to confirm company ownership, the financial backers, what competition had done similar things, etc. Turns out the company is backed by a billionaire who also runs a social media company that we probably all use. The $5 thing - at least for the app I was researching - I found quite by accident. In other words I signed up for the app on my own, used it, liked it and wondering why no one else told me about it, did some research. Offering $5 is nothing new. When it first rolled out Google Wallet offered $5 for every person you recommended. It's an effort to get potential new clients to the service. Akin to when you get samples at the supermarket. Remember the sausage lady? She would cook a few sausages, slice them up and stick toothpicks in them as she handed them out? Then when you walked down the sausage aisle you had a strange desire for kielbasa. Great now I'm hungry or something ;-)

Google was able to do it because they have deep pockets as does the app I researched. They are both highly recognized companies. Though I am certain there will still be people a little leery of anyone asking you to try something and they'll give you $5 to do it. How many times have we heard that, right? It's good to be cautious. It keeps you safe.

To the original poster and anyone reading this, feel free to pm me for the deets regarding the instant transfer app I referenced throughout. For the record, I am not mentioning it here because it is not friendly to adult services. While you may want to use it for personal reasons (which is totally legit and follows their TOS) I believe it's better to keep it out of public view on a forum like this. While instant transfer has been around for years in other parts of the world (mainly as a fix to rampant banking issues) it is relatively new in the US. I think it's fantastic. A friend sent me $25 at 10:35 PM and it was in my bank account at 10:36 PM. On a weekend! The bank was closed! It's like magic. The money was transferred within seconds. I bet a lot of you can think of other ways to use the service.

Am I still cautious of the sausage lady? Hell, yeah! Frankly, I recommend this app because I think it's great and if you can make $5 recommending to clients etc. then have at it. Oh, this app is US based ONLY.

Hmmm. Instant transfer, wonder how they do it if bank is not running their acct balance computer at that time?

Is this pyramid thing or MLM since no value is exchanged for the $?
I loved going to strip clubs; I actually made some friends there. Now things are different for the clubs and for me. As a result I am not as happy.

Customers are not entitled to grope, disrespect, or rob strippers. This is their job, not their hobby, and they all need income. Clubs are not just some erotic show for guys to view while drinking.

NOTE: anything I post here, outside of a direct quote, is my opinion only, which I am entitled to. Take it for what you estimate it is worth.

How interesting, Whitney, that you just now signed up on this forum and the ONE AND ONLY POST YOU MADE SO FAR is in favor of this scam. Luckily, I think the ladies on this forum are too smart to fall for it.

From the looks of it to me it does look to be a real service. Since it appears to be a new service and they want to people to sign up that could and would explain the $5 for referring others. Other services to things like that all the time.
Although it's also really not that different than other services that are already available such as sending money via:
    PayPal

    Google Wallet/Gmail

    Serve/American Express

    Akimbo Card

In fact Akimbo Card and ChimpChange are very similar.
The fees and features are not to different from one another. They can be thought as prepaid cards except not. Their cards say debit on them because the accounts can be thought about as a checking account because it technically is a checking/bank account. In the fine print for ChimpChange it saids the card is issued by a bank called Eagle And Trust Company of Missouri Bank. While Akimbo fine print says the card is issued by the account/card is issued by Sunrise Banks N.A.
I can't speak for ChimpChange card but since I have an Akimbo Card so I'll explain that. My Akimbo Card came/comes with an account number. Which they call the direct deposit account number. The bank Akimbo is working with to provide their service is Sunrise Banks, so they also give you Sunrise Banks routing number. This is how you're able to send or withdraw money from another bank account or paypal etc. I think since it setup as direct deposit or for whatever reason the fund transfer happens faster than if you were using other bank accounts. You can do one time transfers or automatic scheduled transfers.
They both appear to have apps to send money for free in real time to other users. I know with Akimbo you can go to the online portal search by username, email or phone number of another Akimbo card member and send them money. Likewise with both you have a pin number to make atm withdrawals, Setup sms alerts. You can order sub-cards. I once ordered a sub-card some time ago with a made up name once to see if it would work and I got a card with that name on it. Could you imagine same made up name on a fake id card.

On this fourm person mentions to perhap use his Akimbo Card and sub card for his partner to send her money from the US to China

He mentions Visa since it used to be a Visa Card but earlier in the year they changed banks and now use MasterCard. Google Wallet, PayPal and ChimpChange also use MasterCard. Who knows maybe they're easier to work with then Visa.

Yes, but just WHAT is the service? Some value must be exchanged or it is a pyramid scheme. I've even heard of that "value" being a recipe.

ChimpChange is just another debit card similar to the RushCard that carries a zillion fees to have/use. In order to get the $5 they are "offering," you have to be invited by someone who has the app on their phone. Then you need to sign up and activate your account and wait to receive your ChimpChange debit card in the mail. Then you have to add money to your account AND make a purchase using that debit card. THEN, each person will receive $5. The biggest problem is there are tons of fees associated to having/using this card. For instance, if you don't use it for 2 months, they charge you a $4.95 fee. (There goes your free $5.00!) If you use an ATM that is NOT a MoneyPass ATM to withdraw money, they charge you $1.95. It's just not worth it, in my opinion. I'll stick to my regular bank-issued ATM card.
