Default how do you move and dress for audition?

What do you wear for an audition? do you wear stripper heels? my small city doesn't have outfits/shoes at all!! And I'm iffy on buying hme online without trying them on. Any other options?
I am still trying to build courage to get into a club for an audition. ..I really do not know how to move for an audition. And I feel I could loose a bit more weight. I've have one child five years back but still have a tiny pouch... :/ but I feel I've got a cute face.. Asian...not your typical petite asian though... 5'4" B cup, I have a butt but then again not so much...big boned...and when I say big boned, I don't mean I'm a super curvaceous. Just taller than typical asian and good looking thighs.
how do I prepare myself for even knowing what I'm doing? dance in front of the mirror at home? I've taken one pole class...harder than I thought. go to the strip club and get a feel of how they dance?

You can't alter your bone structure or spot train. Believe me, my bete noire has been a small pooch that has stuck with me through thick and thin. Heh. I recommend a lot of cardio and a clean diet to bring your overall body fat percentage down. After that slowly integrate weight training.

/Tempest Why don't you consider lipo for that last bit of poochy? If only used on already fit people for the last stubborn fat deposits then can yield result. Or are you going to keep trying the old fashioned way?

I've been toying with the idea on and off. I'm mostly worried about the down time and the effects on the muscle mass I've built up. Pooch nonwithstanding, I've got some seriously wicked guns!!

I've got the same problem, and I'm of the opinion: if you still make $$$ who give a damn...exception might be crazy competitive big cities. If you can't purchase shoes locally (I do reccommend you try them on--on the small side (a little bit) is ok, you can stretch them. Definitely don't want them to be too big. And that's a tough call to make online shopping), go with something simple and classy that you already own. You're going to want to purchase an actual pair of shoes as soon as possible as they are much easier to move around in, but for your first day a pair of 5-6" black, white, nude, or red pumps should work just fine. Preferably with a platform on the bottom. If you don't/can't travel to purchase new shoes, see if one of the girls has an extra pair she can sell you, or at least try on some pairs from the lost and found so you can order a pair the right size for you online.

As for movement: just accept you are going to look like a complete idiot the first time you go up there. Think of it like hazing. We all had to do it. We all looked dumb. The more you actually look and observe how dumb you look and why in both a private and public setting, the sooner you'll start looking awesome. Some girls take two weeks others take 2 years. Most of them get there eventually. It's a whole process to learn how to move, how to do tricks, how to make those tricks look good, and how to make your specific body look good in different positions. Every girl has different assets and styles, you have to figure out what feels the most sexy and natural to you, there's no one size fits all here other than the general advice of "go slow, and if you think you're going slow, slow it down even more".

I'll have to go into more clubs and observe. But are you just swaying side to side looking sexy while doing so...are you spinning around the pole? Are you really undressing yourself or just dancing first for the audition? This bar I plan to start at is topless only, are you still wearing bottom bikini or is that still revealing too much? yes I read a thread where you might get clients while auditioning, what should you do? It's just a whole lot I think I'm over thinking.

    You're definitely overthinking.

Dancing on stage depends on the girl. Some work the pole, some don't touch it, some just pose. An experienced dancer can just walk around the stage and look sexy while doing it. Stage skill will come in time. Management will explain what they want from you on stage for your audition.

Rules vary from club to club and each city but typically at a topless club you'd be stripping down to a "legal" or regular g-string/thong on the bottom.

You're not being judged on your dancing ability when you audition. In fact, being a skilled dancer has nothing to do with being a skilled stripper. Your audition is going to be based on your looks first and your enthusiasm second. I've watched hot girls flop around on the stage like a fish out of water who get hired and I've seen classically trained dancers not be able to make a $1 because they look like they are just trying to hard.

If you're me circa 2006, you dress like a street-dwelling sex worker and move like an over-excited prom attendee. But I wouldn't necessarily recommend that approach.
