I don't see why it would be an issue. How would they even know?

I'm also curious. I want to move to the US for a few months too...but as a camgirl, how would it work? Don't need a green card or anything? :L

Most visiting VISA's say that you can not operate your own business within the country your visiting. Im not sure about the Australian to American one but it should be really easy to look that up. Since camming is your own business this would make doing it illegal.

I have actually discussed this with my American Lawyer and he assured me that I am not allowed to operate any form of business in America. Including business I dont actually get paid for at the time when Im doing it in America.

That is the law. I know girls who have broken it in regards to porn and been caught by border control and had all their accounts frozen and money taken as a result but I know lots of girls who have gotten away with it. If your VISA states that self employment is not allowed then this includes camming.

Even with a visa, when you come across and go through customs and they ask you what you plan on doing while visiting the US and you mention ANYTHING that implies that you will be working or earning money while you are here, they can and will deny you access to the country. I know it seems insane, but you can't earn any money while you are in the unites states unless you have a work permit, that even applies if you're not earning money from a physical job, say at Starbucks.

When my SO came from the UK they held him in customs for several hours and grilled him like he was a terrorist. They then called his...fuck I can't think of the word, the person that he says he is staying with that basically cosigns responsibility for him while he's here, and grilled them too to make sure that their stories lines up. It was a mess and very scary. If the stories weren't the same they were going to deny him entry and send him back to the UK, which meant denial from entry for 3 years.

If they do find out that you were working while in the US (i.e. filming, uploading, camming, etc) you can face charges for misrepresentation and they will deny you entry to the US again for 10 years. You would literally not be allowed to come back for 3 years, even if your close relative was here and their last dying wish was to see you.

The US doesn't fuck around, which sucks because it makes it harder for good people to emigrate legally.

Jeeez. That's a shame. So US is only going to be a short holiday destination it seems.
Which countries is it possible to cam in? Learned that camming in Thailand is a BIG no no from the travel camming thread.

Yes this is exactly what my lawyer told me! I can have sex with people in the USA but if I film it then it could be considered for profit even if I take the film back to my home country and then upload it it is illegal! If you get caught your deported any US bank account frozen and you cannot return for at least 3 years.
