Default Colorado and Washington State Dancers!

I live and dance in Oregon and we are going to have recreational pot legalized here on Thursday Oct. 1, 2015. This has me curious on how legalization changed your work environment? Did business pick up, slow down or was there no real difference before legalization of rec from after?

I have already seen a few traveling businessmen who service the cannabis industry. I'm intrigued by the idea of a brand new industry growing up around us, literally.

I dance in Oregon as well. While it's hard to say the overall effect this will have, the owner of weedmaps came into work recently and bought multiple champagne hours. He tried to give me oil as a tip but I convinced him to give me cash lol

So far it's been a good thing

It's a good prospect but it will be competitive. "The Emerald Triangle" has been doing this under the table for decades & those growers/suppliers are some of the nastiest people out there. The "hippie vibe" of weed selling isn't going to go along with the legalization, it'll just make it another business, like selling cars or running a minimart.

Must be nice to dance where weed is legal.

    Actually pondering a move there.

I've always been jealous people could smoke tobacco in the club and I'd be like if only I could take a few puffs right now I'd be really content.

I have noticed more people vaping in the club. And I don't believe it's always tobacco.

^ Ahahha. Seriously, make friends with weed growers from Montana. They are more friendly & open than ones from CA or WA. Just my opinion.

I would have taken the oil plus asked for cash haha.

I thought about moving into the seattle area to finish school at bastyr university. Ive heard that washington isnt great for dancing though, i doubt it could be worse than montana as far as money goes. And where are all these Montana weed growers Snuffle? Tell them to come to strip clubs in montana lol

I'd bump into them randomly in Bozeman. I lost my contacts since I moved. I guess you have to find a seller & then go from there. A lot of hobby sellers are very nervous cats & might not be interested in having too many friends.

Growing in MT takes more discipline b/c of the weather. Also the Fed. Gov. has been dicking over some of the larger growers, leading to bad feelings and anger.

Recreational weed has been legal for a week now and the club is dead as fuck. I did get a real estate call from an indoor producer looking for shop or light industrial space to expand his grow operation, though! I'll figure out how to make money off legal weed one way or another...

It got awful, the industry crashed here in Colorado, business stopped sending people here for conventions , less business trips, also everyone is to stoned to come into the club's

I am a WA dancer. I haven't seen not one difference in my home city as far as bringing more business into the clubs. About the only thing I have noticed is that more of the girls at my home club are bringing in edibles and hash oil sodas.
