I am looking to treat myself to a massage in the next few days, and am considering going to have a Thai massage.
In the past I've had a couple of Swedish type salon massages which I didn't find very beneficial, so since then have always gone for deep tissue/sports type treatments to ensure I really feel something and continue to feel the benefit afterwards.
I've wanted to try Thai massage for a while, so wondered if anyone has any experience or information on it.
The place near me has a choice of the traditional treatment through your clothes or an oil massage and I can't decide. I want to experience the traditional one but am not sure if I will miss the sensation of being massaged with oil.
I have been extremely stressed recently and really want to feel wrung out and then relaxed afterwards(I can handle feeling sore/emotional etc as a result as I know it will ease).
Depends on the therapist of course, but is traditional Thai a good option, or do you know of other types of massage that might suit?

.
I'm more into a relaxing massage, good pressure but not too much, I'm really tiny 5'4 and 110 lbs so I rarely have to complain about the pressure, it's easier for the massage therapist to go too strong than not enough lol.
