Default "Contract Cancelled," fired less than 2 weeks after being hired at Sapphire Las Vegas

Hi girls, I came to check in for work and was told my "contract was cancelled" and that I couldn't work there anymore.

The manager gave me no explanation, saying there were no phone calls he could make, that it was an administrative decision from corporate and he had no control. He said around 60 girls had been let go.

I was told I could NOT reaudition to try and work there in the future.

I know he wasn't lying about other girls also being fired because another girl trying to check in also was being told the same thing. She had been working there 2 years.

Has anyone ever experienced this? Any ideas on what the reason could be...? I have never been fired from a club before after around 3 years of dancing and now I don't even know why I was fired.

Did you ever find out what the reason was??

I don't know if this helps, but something similar happened to me in 2010, well I wasn't fired but they changed my shift from night to the 2am one... I'm almost sure that the guy at the entrance was the one who changed it; Because he told me my shift had been changed before I gave him my sheriff's card to check in; Now this happened in the summertime when the club was slow and there were way too many girls, so they did the same thing to a number of girls also. Just like with you, no one could give me an answer of why they did that so I came up with three theories on my one...
    a) I never tipped this particular guy at the entrance, and looking back I noticed most other girls did..
    b) I didn't sell any vips the previous weekend, and somehow they were keeping track/?.. (I read about this on this on this forum)
c)That particular day I came in looking like a mess to be honest.. baggy clothes, no make up, hair in a bun... I don't know, maybe because there were so many girls, that very same day they decided to change shifts to all girls that weren't looking that great when they came in..?

I guess I'll never know for certain why they did it... And now they're also firing girls without a reason? I don't get it...

In Vegas money goes a long way , its annoying cause they all have there hand out, I was fired there for a bust a the Rio pool a long time ago and guess what I was not even there the day the bust happen. A stripper that I use to work with was there and she did not work at Sapphire and she got arrested for both drugs and prostitution . Well when she got arrested she said I told her to go there to pick up clients which was a lie. She was so geek up she was just rambling on , she also knew my real name because I referred her for botox. Well I ended up suing Sapphire for this and won last year.

Maybe it's cos the club is losing money? I got fired a while back and was told it was my fault but a bunch of girls got fired and the club was running of money so in reality it was probably that, maybe it's the same with you?
