    Default Ending Viral Disease

    https://www.indiegogo.com/projects/h...es-with-dracos

I found out about this indiegogo campaign to help fund a drug that could literally end virus based diseases like HIV, Ebola, ect...

Its been successful in so far, but thier funding has run out and Dr. Rider needs more money to get it to the do more testing on commericially viable viruses so that DRACO can catch the eyes of pharma investment.

Its really cool and interesting so I just thought you guys would like to know about it.

I love it! Surprised I didn't hear about it sooner. I'd love to see where this goes.

    This cannot possibly be legit

I think it is legitimate. There are a lot of experimental drugs that already exist that inhibit viral replication. A lot of them target RNA replication. Favipiravir is one that I can think of that is currently being tested for the Ebola virus.

The World Health Organization has even considered it ethical and allows giving experimental drugs to people in places with endemic diseases with no cure.

DRACO has also been published in peer reviewed journals:

He's not faculty and it looks like his group works on national defense.

I'm going to follow this because I'm interested in how it will play out but I won't comment further.

They're already at nearly at 10% of thier goal of $100,000, I hope they have stretch goals.
