So, I've a super cute pr of suede, over the knee boots, gonna prob wear 'em for Halloween, & maybe a concert or two..
They're old, but in really good shape, I wore them a few times @ a dive (carpeted floors) & out a couple times..
They have a long zipper, all the way up the sides. I know to use the lead from a pencil rubbed along the zipper teeth. I started also stuffing the foot part inside w/tissue..
I am very careful, I don't want to break the zipper, it wd be super expen$ive, even if
I could find a shoe repair to do it.
I started hanging the boots up on a skirt hanger, (w/the clips attached) to kind of lengthen it out, the one zipper seems more balky than the other..
I also have a cheap pr of gladiator sandals, they go to my shin. I have trouble w/those zippers too, again w/the graphite from the pencil.
Maybe it's just a thing w/long zippers? I guess I could stuff the leg part w/rolled up magazines, I used to do that to make them stand up
Any other suggestions?
Thanks!
