    Mind Blowing Talk To Me Account Compromised?

    Hello PSO's and performers,

    I am in need for some help and viewpoints. Last night I was having an amazing time on TTM. Everything perfect, calls were flying on in... and then I get a strange message in my inbox saying "I'll give you 1,000 dollars" greedy me was excited and clicked the message, but business me would have click anyhow. Once I clicked on the message, it took me to an entirely different website from talk to me. I freaked out, and didn't read through the spam site, I just ignored that person for the time being, and kept taking calls.

    Now this morning, I go to log in and I can't!!! And it's saying my email that works every time is not registered there. HUH?! I contacted support immediately, because I am super worried that my account was hacked into. Has anyone had this happen to them? I am freaking out!!

    Please everyone be vigilant with their ttm accounts, and email support right away is you get a spam message like me. I feel in my gut my mistake was ignoring that spam message.

    Update, support replied to me saying that my email is not in their database?! But how?! I receive all of my talktome communication with this particular email?!!!!! I provided them with a link to my main account that I registered with. And now when I search for that account within their system, I cannot find me. However, when I go to the link that I provided them with, I can still see my account. What's going on?! I am so freaked out.

    Any techy people in here that could possible know or at least have an idea about what's going on? I would appreciate any information, or a comforting word at this point.

    Second Update,

    My account has been temporarily closed, and is currently under investigation. This whole situation makes me have a HUGE amount of anxiety, but I am so glad that they're communicating with me, and looking into the matter.

    So sorry that happened - hopefully they will get it straightened out quickly. Did this happen when you clicked the TTM email or when you got into the email you clicked something else?

    I have had two instances where I received a call and when I pressed one to accept the call I was put into the callers voicemail - I heard their name and phone number

    Thank you so much for you reply Nikki, I am literally shaking and I think because I know in my gut something is up, and I was hacked.
    This happened when I went into my inbox on TTM, and clicked on the message in their system. When I clicked on the message I never saw what was said from the sender, because I would be immediately redirected to a website called "Awardspace .com" (I just looked it up in my browser).

    I have yet to have to be sent to a callers VM, but this is super strange. I am concerned it was the doing of a regular caller of mine. He's into findom, and I have quite a few limits with that fetish. He was talking about giving me $1000 during the time of that message coming to my inbox, and asking me if he can create another account there?. I am not sure if callers can make another account there or not, but I have this weird feeling he has something to do with it. I don't want to point the finger just yet, but too many coincidences going on here with him.

    Update 4:
    Today has be one of the worst days of my flipping life. That's the last time I will open a message from their inbox on their platform. My account WAS hacked, and password everything changed. Money was being sent by paxum to the hacker whom resides in Egypt. On top of that my personal email and computer was also hacked due to this negligence. DO NOT OPEN YOUR MESSAGES ON the talk to me platform, you could be hacked.

    I was told that talktome was not responsible nor were they liable for my account being hacked. I was not prev-vied to any information whatsoever, because I was being told it was an on going investigation, and it was on a "need to know bases". I feel like this is a need to know bases since it involved me and MY personal information. They couldn't promise me that it wouldn't happen again, or if they would let me know that they caught the hacker so that I could have a bit of peace of mind.

    I mentioned your issue on PSO forum to warn other ladies, and TTM customer service responded saying that the account was hacked by their own security consultant who was testing the site for vulnerabilities - and that customer service doesn't have the complete information from their tech department.

    I'm sorry - but this makes zero sense to me. They have a multitude of test profiles they could have used, and if this is really the truth - they should NEVER put anyone through this kind of scare!

    Staci, thank you a million times for sharing this with the other PSO's, I didn't know how to make sure everyone could see what was going on. This concerns EVERYONE there. I asked TTM to warn the other performers, and no one else has heard a peep, even though they said they were issuing a statement.
    They also claim that I wasn't the only one. So if ANYONE else had this happen, let's compile our information please, I am currently in the process of performing my own investigation. I have the hackers first and last name, email address, and location (clearly not a security test due to the information I have). I've also done my research on the hackers alias', and am almost quite certain as to who he is.
    Unfortunately for ttm, they have changed their story in the course of 2-3 emails exchanged with me. I really do wish that they would have told me the truth, because it's my information that was changed and tampered with. If it was a test, why am I getting paid on Saturday or Monday? Why am I being financially punished for a test? Why did I get locked out of my account? Why did I have my pc hacked, and my personal email too? Why did their support team request that I use a spyware before I could log back in? Why did I have to correct my payment and personal information? Why didn't management not speak up when I was upset and emailing (they were emailed too) about this issue 24 hours ago? Why did they allow me to suffer so much stress and anxiety over a "test"? I am still so paranoid, and I just want know that is everything going to be okay.

    I'm so sorry you are having to go through all this.

    The general consensus of other operators is that the story is ridicules - and I agree.

    The explanations that TTM have offered on the phone sex operator forum just sounds like a cover story - and not a good one, at that.

    Oh it's totally a cover story Staci, and I truly appreciate your support and understanding, as well as sharing the word with the other pso's. I've got wayyyyy more information in my arsenal then they would like for me to have at this point. It's really a shame too, I had such hope for this company, and they really let me down with their lies over something I would have over looked, if I were told the truth from the start. I have consulted with professionals, and they do have holes in their system, and it isn't pretty. Now they're trying to do damage control, when the damage has already been done. I know I should just try my best to keep on trucking, but emotionally it's too hard. I've got a family to feed, and every penny matters.
    I honestly feel like I've been exposed in the worst kind of way, and what makes it worse was the cruel silence from management during the time I needed a light in the chaos that was surrounding me.
    From my evaluation, they've had security issues in the past, and some of the pso's were unaware that that was what happened to them at the time. Please everyone be cognizant of your accounts. And if anyone has any updates on their end, please let me know. It would be much appreciated for my research.

    I am really outraged by their response to this. That's all I'm going to say for now. (I've said plenty on the other forum)
