Default Anyone notice NYC clubs slowing down?

Maybe it's just my home club here in NYC, but this is supposed to be the busy season and I can barely make house fee back or leave owing even on thursday-saturdays. Are all of the clubs in the city going this way???

Many of the girls I've spoken to at my club have said the same. We hired a whole army of new girls and there just aren't customers coming through the door like there were last year. Competition has always been tough but now it's near impossible. Even the host favorites and typical room girls are working the floor (though they have the best luck due to whatever they did to become favorites)

I want to try somewhere else but I'm limited to what I can access by the subway and there are only a couple upscale clubs I haven't tried yet. A bunch I really didn't like. Ugh.

Yup. It's been bad for the last 2-3 weeks at my club. Was wondering if it was just my club too.

I'm not in NYC but I've noticed it as well in my clubs in Philly and FL. I made more in the summer and now I'm making below my minimum. So I think it goes beyond NYC right now.

I work in Manhattan as well and took a short working vocation to Myrtle Beach for a weekend to avoid NY club emptiness for the last 3 weeks. Even Myrtle Beach experiencing lack of quality customers and generally have less customers than last year. And i worked with 92 girls on the floor there...I guess, October is officially may be the worse month. Lets hope for November and Wall Street Christmas bonuses!

Precise212, which club you work at in MB? I've heard Masters slow last couple weeks & TheeDollhouse has been flooded with excess girls some nights making it hard to make money.

True, that is what i heard about Masters too. I worked at Thee Dollhouse this weekend, Thursday was bad, Friday and Saturday were very challenging and way less money than in the spring. Overwhelming amount of girls and club's business interruption to do 'showtime promo" every hour is messing with sales sometimes. Good luck if you work there, locals told me it was a good last weekend to work, next Halloween week may be slow.

I've never traveled for work, although I'd like to at some point. Seems like it's all over the place...had high hopes for October too! Since I was really trying to get back onto a reliable schedule. But this is just killing my vibe. Almost every customer makes a remark about how my club is drowning in girls and asks if its always this slow with customers lol. I ordered a gown to audition some new places in so we'll see..

In my experience October has been rough in Nyc pretty much because of all the jewish holidays during that month, I think that most likely had something to do with it, but usually November picks up

Yes, I have heard from top girls that Vivid has been very slow for the entire month of Oct.

I am way on the other side of the country but I just wanted to add that Phx has also been wonky. Normally it's decent right now but I had a couple weeks this month where every day was either straight up AWFUL (like, 'better find a vanilla job' awful) or just mediocre, because I busted my ass to make it mediocre. The girls are all playing musical clubs too, which is what happens all summer when it's dead.

I wonder if there's something going on economically we haven't realized.

I worked at Vivid last fall and remember it being kinda slow on October.

So fed up with NYC right now. I'm actually missing LA. Everyone complains about LA being difficult but at least you aren't losing money on a bad night in LA because of house fees and tip outs.

So I'm thinking of going back to working in the city and either auditioning today or tomorrow. Has it picked up since last month, ladies?

For me, it hasn't. It's still slow and filled with cheap ass guys who have been more blow-offy than usual. I want to audition at another club but people are flocking to mine so idk...

It finally has for me. It's not totally awesome but it's a hell of a lot better than it was in October.
