Post op 12 days from boob job. Other incision is healing AWESOME can barely even tell I had surgery this incision is just not healing that well... No fever no heat no pus but it's a little sore and looks irritated. I have an appointment tomorrow with my PS. I've used diluted tea tree oil dabbed on idk what more to do to get it to heal better ): http://i297.photobucket.com/albums/m...psjwsl8wwy.jpg

It doesn't look too bad, to me, doesn't look infected. Maybe put some vitamin e oil on it? Idk too much about that though. I was gonna suggest pure aloe, but sometime that can burn a bit.

It does look a little irritated/ pre-infection. Watch for expanding redness and discharge +heat around the site. ENSURE that you're keeping the site free from sweat or dirt. Also make sure you're using a gentle cleanser with cleaning. Some soaps can dry out the site TOO much.

WTF don't put tea tree oil on an open incision! Keep it clean and dry until you see your Dr.

Does it show signs of being infected? Warmth, redness, more pain than expected? Only a doctor can say for sure, I believe there's an online ER available now.

Good thing is the redness, which means its healing. Keep it clean, don't touch it and moisten with coconut oil. I agree that a doctor could tell you better than anyone if its infected, but it looks like it needs a nice sterile cleanse.
