Default Any advice on avoiding camgirl zombie-ness?

I cam evenings because I figure peak masturbating times - more time spent in paid chat - however my sleeping pattern is WRECKED since I started camming. I usually finish at midnight so I'll get hungry, eat something low in sugar for dinner, drink tea with valerian, take herbal sleeping tablets. Yet I can't tear myself of my laptop after I've finished, I literally feel like my mind isn't sleepy yet so I'll keep watching movies and cat videos at the like to tire myself out. I'll wake up any time between 11am-5pm and rarely any earlier, can't get to sleep until about 1am. My window in my bedroom is kind of small, I'm moving soon but right now I don't have much natural light.

Do you have any tips for switching off and continuing to live a normal life? I can act energetic on cam but I feel so tired all the time.

This is something I'm still learning! I'm actually a morning person, but I have to cam at night due to that being when I make the most money. I cam from 9:30pm to 1:30am which usually runs to 2:30am to add privates then my mind is usually buzzing in bed until 3 or 4am. I ALWAYS set my alarm for 11am and make myself get out of bed (whereas before I wouldn't bother with an alarm and I'd perhaps just sleep in an extra hour or 2) Making sure I get up at the same time every day has improved my initial cam model zombie-ness. Having a schedule also really helps, if I don't set myself a daily schedule and stick to it - I get lazy. I'm still learning how to completely switch off after I turn to the laptop off, usually I'm physically exhausted but my mind is going 1000 miles per hour! I used to stay up and browse, but now I try and go straight to bed which has helped me nod off sooner. Hope you find something that works for you soon

I believe the body needs a few hours from lights, tv, computer screens, etc before it gets into sleep mode. However you can trick it. There's sites that will block off websites for you so you can sleep and get work done. Also, listening to calming music or nightly meditation, taking a long hot bath, and even masturbation should knock you out.

I've done this a few times (also deleted several time wasting apps from my phone) and it really helped. It's been a while since I looked into it, but there are some browser add-ons that will block certain sites for a set length of time or on a schedule. There's also one that will completely block your ability to go online for however long you schedule it.

You basically have to force yourself to start getting up at the right time, and eventually you'll adapt to the new sleep cycle. I've found that if you have something pleasant to look forward to in the morning it's much easier to get out of bed. So I schedule "fun" things in the morning, and save chores for the afternoon.

You have to turn off everything, put phone away or turn off in fact. If you will keep stimulatin your brain with blue light it will be keep awake, because that light gives a signal to your brain that it is day time. At least wear orange glasses, but i cant say they are working well, i read very boring book it kicks me to sleep in mins.
    Drink magnesium( Calm)
Valeriana kind of makes youlike a zombi calms nerves yes, but you have not nerve problem but a cortisol is very high because of the light which gives signal to your body.
in ideal ofc, you have to prepare yourself for a long sleep, sleep is very important because of detoxification. You sleep half of your life.if you go to sleep late, like many of us and you have to sleep at least 7-9 hours, but like in my case lights from windows wake me up or noices from outside.
    as i said ideal:
    1) you have to calm yourself after working( turn iff laptop,do yoga, run a hot bath, maybe stand outside and breath fresh air look at stars)
    2) you can eat before sleep and you should. While you are sleeping you are burning the highest amount of calories ( i dont mean you should eat donuts, or burger) i mean you should eat coconut oil, or maybe "epic bar", hard boiled egg, or maybe raw egg, or eat some cheese. Some healthy fats!because catbs whould spike your blood sugar and make you hyper.
3)you can cool your room, refresh, maybe you have a himalain salt lamp.
    4) you can take supliments such as adrinal formula, tulsi tea( good adaptagen)

Also, having a set afternoon "thing" to do can help. I go to the gym at 3 (used to be 2, but they changed when Judge Judy is playing, my running friend). This helps me get out of bed at least by 1pm (and I feel ya, I rarely go to bed before 4:30-5am).

I don't know about everyone else, but after I finish my afternoon shift and eat dinner, I get sleepy and want a nap, and as soon as I'm done my late night shift, I wash off my makeup, give the poochies a snack, crawl into bed and crash within 2 minutes literally, lol. Guess my body is trained, just wish I could stop being tired after dinner!

Go to gym every 2-3th day, and long walk with dog in the hills. works for me. (if no time to gym, i do workout at home lol)
Eat healthy food - use protein powder , bcaa and stuffs like that.
have a long shower after work - wear something comfy - favorite pijama for example lol.

I had the issue - my mind felt like "busy - upset" after work but i ve figured out, it s just the stress what came into me during work.
so u had to deduce stress - u know what works for u (gym is perfect for me) and in the same time, take the less stress as u can, while work.
I am more conscious now as i was before about myself, and other people too. Bein honest to urself is not "pretty" in this business, but helps not get confused and dizzy after work. I think.

I had a LOT of trouble with this because I used to cam from my room. Now I have a cam office in the 2nd bedroom, and no matter what, my laptop can't come into my bedroom. If it does, I end up watching movies/TV/cats riding roombas all night. So now it stays anywhere but my bedroom, and I get into bed and read until I am tired. Sometimes I read for 2 or 3 hours, but I definitely go to sleep much better than I used to. Don't like reading? Try something quiet like knitting or cross-stitch, or just listen to the radio on quiet. It's hard to just. turn. off. the. computer, but it can be done. My phone is plugged in to charge across the room from me (I use it as an alarm). You have to be tough with yourself.
