    Default Holiday Workout Challenge

Hey ladies, it's that time of year again... Well, almost! I know I *always* gain weight around the holidays but not this year. I thought maybe this post could help myself and a few others. Basically just post your current weight, and your goal weight. We can check in with each other, motivate each other, and then by Jan 1st can all see how we did! It's not a competition, and NOT meant to be unhealthy. Pleaaaaase don't do anything unhealthy to lose weight, that isn't what this is for!

    Anyway, I'll start!

    Current weight: 203 lbs
    Goal weight: 170 lbs

Also, I'm gonna go vegetarian so *fingers crossed*

Good idea bb, and just what I've needed. I've had a goal for NYE for a while as I plan to be out of the country and this will definitely help keep me on track. I've been slipping on my work outs lately and would appreciate the motivation and to motivate. I'm still happy that I'm 19lbs down from my highest weight but really need to push past the 230s.

    Current Weight:236
Goal Weight by NYE:217 One lb away from my driving license weight.

ETA: I gained 3lb back! Kicks butt into gear!

Oh god, I am still going and surprised I haven't gorged myself with candy..as of yet! Weight 120, might of gained from coming off bc. I stuck all the goodies on a top shelf, being short has came in handy! I look like I've been retaining water and feel bloated plus the sugar cravings are at dangerous levels, even with fruit..so I am up for the challenge! My goal is to remain at a steady workout and gain more protein to fight PCOS symptoms. (Notice it a lot more off the pill, it sucks and the odd cramps, random nausea spells haven't stopped!)

    Heyy
This is TattooedBBW btw , changed my username because I am almost not a BBW. I lost 100lbs since last Sept , you might remember me posting in the other body challenge from last year. Well I started at 285 and got down to 185 ,then started slacking a bit..so I really want to get back on track.
I gained 10lbs and want to put a stop to that before it gets worse.

    SW: 195
    GW: 150

Going to get back to doing Jillian Michael's dvds , Body Revolution , and jogging til it gets cold outside, and eating clean 80% of the time and lots of water.

I will play! I am at this point in weightloss where I am fine-tuning my diet and activity levels so that I can maintain. On my initial weightloss I went past my goal of 145 to 135. I felt I looked great, but it was a bit wierd to be that small, having been a bigger girl my whole life, it freaked me out a bit to be honest. And I think I overdid it a little bit because last winter came around and I was cold a lot. I planned to gain 10 lbs over the winter which I did, and felt good about, but then the last six months have been so stressful...moved, business drama, breakup, friend drama (seems like these things always come at once) and I found out I gained another almost 15 lbs at my last dr visit...oops. I'm tall and carry my weight evenly...so all of my clothes still fit and I barely noticed anything amiss...but my initial weightloss was around 75lbs so I want to get everything back in check now. Currently at 158, Goal: 145.

I've started cooking more soups, stocking salad materials all the time and cooling it with the pub food and choosing healthier (and more expensive--sigh) options instead. Also trying to get back into a yoga and pole routine at least a couple times a week. I quit dancing as much this summer and I never added in extra workout time...that's likely a huge part. I've been sleeping in too late lately too--I'm going to use these as pre-work activities to get me up earlier and reason to go to bed earlier too...seriously...I'm still up at 6am writing this...whyyyyy.

And my goal for 2016 will be to go a whole year maintaining in the 135-145 range...I feel like that will be the real test at the end of what will be a 4-year long project!

I would like to lose some weight and gain a bit of muscle so I'll play. I'm a little too big for most of the clubs around here and I wanna try out at a few other places next year.

    Current:~150
    Goal:135

I think I'll really drop pounds if I can avoid fast food. Every night I work I pass five or more places and it's so easy to reward myself after a good night or get something greasy and delicious after a shitty night. That and keep to my running and stretching.

I'm the heaviest I've ever been in my life (146 at 5'6) since I stopped dancing and I hate it. Just ordered the 21 day fix and hope to get it soon as my boyfriend's work's holiday party is in a month and I would like to lose 5 lbs by then, than another 5 by New Years.
    Goal weight:135
Anyone here have experience with 21 day fix?

I'm in. I miss being healthy, sexy and fit.

    Current weight: 180lbs
Goal weight: 140-150 (I know I won't shed ALL of this this holiday but its a good push)

My routine will involve a lot of weightlifting, a mostly vegan diet as I miss that sometimes and a ton of pole dancing. Hooray!!

I'm okay with my weight but I need to do this! I've been eating horribly lately and slacking big time on working out. I feel like crap I want to feel healthy again and I really need to tone up. I weigh 115 but my goal is to feel healthy and have muscle tone and definition lol.

Right now my goal is to cut excessive sugar out since I've been eating so much of it lately and it never makes me feel good I just want to start eating a lot of lean meats, smoothies, and veggies and a little bit of carbs. Also going back to the gym today and I'm hoping to start working out for an hour 4x a week. Cardio and strength training.

I swear ladies, the most paleo meals you can get in there, DO IT. I've been nearly (...~90% ish) bread and processed carb free for 2 weeks and lost an inch everywhere so far! I've also been walking more and putting more effort in on stage at work again. I also cut back a lot on drinking, which has been awesome, I have so much energy! Maybe it's mostly bloat and water weight...I don't have a scale, but things are looking good so far!

I've decided to kick my program up a notch and GO BIG (because I don't go home) and start actively trying to quit all of my vices and incorporate healthy eating and excersise into it. I want to take responsibility for my entire wellbeing not just my weight and appearance, and I think I will be able to apply a lot of the same methods I used to lose weight to quit some bad habits that I developed while doing that, so I will also be attempting to quit smoking (and as a result cutting waaaaaaay back on drinking as it encourages me to smoke I find). I'm doing fairly well so far, I started Wednesday (been sick this week--that was a huge catalyst in the making of this decision, I'm tired of every cold turning into a month long sinus infection), and have had 5 cigarettes since then. The first 2 days were fine and I was smoke free but day 3...friday the 13 what a fucking shitshow stressful day! I caved and had one after work. And had 3 last night when I went out with my girlfriend (this is why I need to cool it with the drinking at least until the not smoking is under control and maybe make it a permenant thing). I'm trying for 0 today. Going to work tonight at a club with a smoking room so that is not going to be easy. Night shifts are so much easier to smoke on But I'm off to do a session of polates before work...I have heard that excersise also helps to reduce cravings!

How are you ladies all doing so far? I just bought a fitbit not long ago. Kicking my workout days up to 5, cooked my meal plan meals for the week, and joining a gym since the first snow fell last night. BLECH! This week I aim to kick up my water intake to 64oz per day.

I finished day 7 of the 21 day fix yesterday and have already lost 5 lbs! I know most of it is water weight, but I still see and feel the difference. I took today off so I could celebrate the holiday, but tomorrow it's back on and if I can lose another 5 lbs in 2 weeks I'll be super happy
