    Search Costume contact lenses

So I want to get costume contact lenses, but I don't have time to get a prescription to buy them.

Anyone here ever got costume contact lenses without prescription and was ok?

lol..you can see, however I'd recommend you get your eyes checked routinely and prescription updated every 5-6mo..once a year at most! I have worn circle lenses for over 9 years and never had any issues occur with my eyes in fact, my recent appointment confirmed my eyes were in check. (not to say its better) Always toss every month and use antibacterial soap to clean your cases as circle lenses tend to sometimes be thicker and can get more dirty from makeup. I personally feel circle lenses look more realistic if you are after cosplay contacts than the regular kinds and some are more comfortable to wear. These lenses can have a darker ring on the outer rim to allow for a bigger eye effect, if that is something you are not interested in they sell ones without it as well. Do not wear these lenses for more than 6-8hrs max! Its useful to just purchase the lenses online, fast and cheaper if you have your prescription updated and already in hand. Because its overseas though, you may end up waiting a month or choose to pay extra shipping for faster service since its mostly in Korea/Japan. If you can afford to purchase clear lenses and set them aside I would also recommend, try to only where circle lenses once in a while or every few days.

Have I ever bought prescriptions without an updated eye exam? No, and I would never suggest you do so without knowing your eyes condition even locally bought. You risk the condition of your vision getting worse and (still to debate) I believe it increases the chances of vitreous from slowly detaching from the retina regardless of study, which can cause floaters over time. In general..its just not a good idea.

I think I'm going to skip on the lenses. Boo. I wanted to get the vampire ones for a party. I've never worn contact lenses, and the last time I got a check up was over a year ago.
