Question Fillers you recommend that are longer lasting

I've lost fat in my midface, upper cheeks as well as my under eye area, but the fat in the lower portion of my face has remained---not really feeling the effects of that Don't really wanna go the fat grafting route as I know that can be unpredictable and can migrate over time. What are everyone's go to fillers for tear troughs and upper cheek area/and maybe even nasolabials without getting that weird lindsay lohan puffy effect? Ideally ones that last over 3-6 months?

Also has anyone gotten botox injections in their masseter to slim their jaw area and get more of a pointier lower face shape?

    I'd love to know too.

I've been wanting fillers in my smile lines for the longest. Maybe a Christmas present to myself. I wonder what the average price range for facial fillers is.

^ I want that too! I saw a pic on Real Self of this girl who got Juvederm in her smile lines and top lip and the difference was amazing. She went from plain to smoking hot lol

i've done juvaderm, and loved it. in fact, its been 2 years and my nose still looks the same ( i used it to get rid of a bump on my nose, and for my cheeks). however, if you're looking for longer-lasting ( juvaderm lasts 6 months to a year in general) i'd go with radiesse

I use Perlane for that area. In CA, it's called restylane lift now. It lasts almost a year on me. There is something else out for that area that is supposed to last two years, that costs twice as much , but I haven't tried it. It's a Juviderm based product. I've had some weird stuff with Juviderm happen in my smile lines: they get kind of lumpy. Not a good look. Actually, I don't like anything in my smile lines, the Perlane helps a bit with them and at least they are symetrical.

I've been using fillers and botox since I was 21. Juvederm is my favorite for fillers in cheeks, lips, and nasolabial folds. It lasts the longest for me especially after the more you use Juvederm, the longer it lasts. My lips have lasted for 4 years after 3 "re-fill" visits. The only place I would ever use Restylane again is in my under eyes (tear troughs), but I no longer use filler in the hollows of my under eyes because Restylane always wears down too quickly for me for the price tag. Radiesse didn't last long at all for me in the cheeks or nasolabial folds and that filler is considered long lasting plus it's more expensive. The price isn't worth how long it lasts IMO.

I would go to a Plastic Surgeon whose expertise is in the tear troughs. I once allowed the RN, who did my botox, to fill my tear troughs with Juvederm. Never use Juvederm in your tear troughs! I looked like I was punched in just 1 eye. I only let her do one of my eyes and made her stop because it looked so bad immediately lol. I had to go to a Plastic Surgeon twice to dissolve the Juvederm and had to wait a week for his availability. It was so embarrassing but of course it's a funny story to me now.

I used juvaderm to get rid of a really deep wrinkle I had. It's been about 3 years now and it has not come back. I used restylane twice for my lips, went away after about a month or two.

Last time I did my lips I got 2 syringes restylane (normally always juvederm) and I was soooooooo swollen it was really embarrassing and I do think it didn't last very long but it looked awesome after the swelling went down.

Had voluma about a year and a half in my upper cheeks cause I wanted it in the tear troughs and this was the 3rd doctor that told me it's a very bad idea to inject fillers there. Apparently the long term effects can be bad as far as it migrating. The volume cost me 2 grand and gave my face a weird shape. Not sure how long it lasted but definitely not worth it.

That's the stuff my doc was pushing on me instead of the Perlane for about two years now! I thought against it because of the price (Perlane is only $500), the fact that it lasts so long and what if I didn't like it and finally that Perlane (Restylane Lift now) has worked so well on me. It's suppose to last two years!

I use Belotero I go to a plastic surgeon to have it injected and I have longer lasting results than Juvederm but I think that for my next touch up I will be using Juvederm Ultra Plus XC because my Dr says she is getting amazing more dramatic and longer lasting results from it.
