    Default slow/busy season

I know summer tends to be pretty slow especially in August/September... Which months do you notice being the most busy? Which are the slowest?

I'm planning to get surgery and I want to pick a date thats smart business-wise lol

You know, it really depends on the area. You'll likely get a more informative answer if you're willing to share what city you're working in. Alternatively, if you've been working for at least a year and have been tracking your earnings, you can look at when you've noticed the biggest dip -- even in the same city, there can be variation between women. As an example, February is traditionally my slowest month and the slowest month in my city. However, I have a friend who finds February to be quite lucrative because that's when her birthday falls, so her regulars make a point of getting lots of face time/spoiling her.

For me, every season has its slow and busy times. People have a tendency to think of fall / winter as the "busy seasons," but honestly, when you think of how many holidays are sprinkled into this time of year (family-based holidays + upcoming tax season), I don't know that that's the case. You may have more good nights during one season than you have, on average, during other seasons...but that doesn't mean that every shift will be great during one season and terrible during another season (unless you work in an extremely seasonal location, like Florida).

My best advice is to work consistently and save up your money so that you don't have to worry about slow and busy seasons.

However, I hear you about wanting to plan your surgery during a time that tends to be slower. How long do you need for a full recovery before you can start dancing safely again? If you're in the U.S. in a standard city, I'd probably choose a summer month. June / Julyish. People's kids are home for the summer, requiring more parental attention, and many people are vacationing during those months (family vacations tend to be bad for business). But, as shanna dior mentioned, this depends heavily on your location and earnings history.

I'm based in Los Angeles. It's my first year doing escort work so I don't have any previous years to look at! I'm getting my boobs redone... tempted to get them done ASAP but I have a feeling it would be smarter to hold off for a couple months. Especially since I'm getting really good business right now and other girls have told me this is their "busy" month. I was also considering February only because I have plans to travel in January.
