    Lightbulb The come back!!

I always find it hard creating that balance as a dancer along every other thing i have going on(nursing school/single mom). Any good tips on how any ladies have created that balance between work and personal life? I think another thing i deal with is that i wasnt previously seasoned in this industry I only really danced for about 6 months after having my daughter who is now 2 and Ive just gone back within the last few weeks. I feel rusty but luckily TWERKING always wins! so im able to do okay . I feel like i could definitely bank more if I just got over the fact that yes I am back!(and act like those girls arent sitting there really saying who the hell is she/ and deal with not knowing anybody in the club) Im also trying to get my body to where i feel more comfortable and not self conscious of myself. I work at a better club than I did before but i still hate being on stage with a million thoughts in my head. I see some girls who have the confidence and fluidity and arent even attractive but their attitude gives off good energy. How often do you ladies practice even if its just maintainging your confidence levels or feeling sexy at work? I hope i can get over this so that the beginning of the year can start off like how i would like it to. Ive had some pretty REAL experiences in the club(dives)... alot of the things I learned from you beautiful souls about the tricks, the weirdos, and hustling, learning to keep it moving, knowing my have and have nots in the club. I took a long break to secure other important things in my life and im kind of having a bad come back!!! HELP!!!

I think the answer to most of your questions is just time and working a lot of shifts, especially if you've only danced for 6 months so far. That fluidity and confidence comes with some experience. If you need to you can just work some dayshifts when it's less busy to build up your confidence in the club and on stage. One thing that I notice is I have a way better stage set when I'm not thinking too much. So try not to have "a million thoughts" in your head and just focus on the music.

Also, don't worry about other dancers judging you when you're new or not knowing anyone in the club. I work at a few clubs and don't really know anyone at any of them except for staff since they're the ones that can affect my money. People will judge you constantly whether you are new or not so you have to just learn to ignore them. Focus on the money 100% and ignore everything else. That can also help you balance dancing with normal life. Make sure the only thing you're taking home from each shift is the money. I mean this is just a job like any other so if you treat it that way it shouldn't affect other parts of your life.

Read up on here a lot, work a lot, ignore everything but the money and your comeback should be a lot better.
