I tip out based on how much someone helped me make money. If you work in a club where you have to tip a percentage of your earnings, I would do it based on the earnings from what you sold (ie. number of dances and VIPs), not base earnings + tips. But hopefully some ladies who work in those kinds of clubs will chime in, because maybe it's expected on the grand total!

I do that also when there's a required percentage. You're 'supposed' to tip out from ALL the money you made but they don't know how much you made in tips. So I would always do the amount it would be strictly from dances/rooms and then add a little more for 'tips'.

Everyone keeps saying ten percent to tip out on?? So ten percent of what you made ( minus the tips)
Do you tip on the spot to the champagne hostess or at end of night?
I know tipping is important so I don't want to screw this up
What about your manager what's a good tip for him?
I hear to give ten percent but is that BROKEN up meaning if you made 500.00 you tip fifty dollars and break that up between management waitress bouncer DJ OR you tip 50.00 ( per person?)
Ten percent a person seems crazy if I made a thousand ten percent would be like giving away half my money but I don't want to short anyone please advise me-
I always thought you just kind of give twenty to the DJ, 5 or ten to the DJ, 20 to manager, 20 to VIP if they helped you and that's it no matter what you make!!! And waitresses get tipped by customers and VIP hosts I don't get tipping them
If you make over 500.00 should you tip more? 1000? 1500????
Any input greatly appreciated xxoxooxoxxo my stripper sisters
Did your club say you're supposed to tip out 10% or is that just what you've read a lot of ladies on here tip out? Find out from your club what the mandatory tip out is -- ask the most trust-worthy manager and then ask someone else to get confirmation. If there's a dancer you feel you can trust, that would be a great confirmation source. If not, you can be sneaky and ask the DJ how much to tip the house mom and the house mom how much to tip the DJ even.
Tip out is something they should explain on your first shift, but if they didn't, it's totally fair to ask. It works differently in each club. Like, personally, I wouldn't tip a manager or waitress unless they lead me to money, but, again, it depends on the club, so find out if that's mandatory/expected in yours. Unless you say where you're working and someone else on here has worked there recently, we can't tell you what you're supposed to do, so you'll have to find out from people in your club.

Thank you!!!! Sooo much![]()

At my club, we don't tip out on total earnings. After the house fee, there's a minimum suggested tip out to DJ and bouncers (they say suggested, but it's pretty much required). It's also polite to tip out the VIP/champagne girl and the bartender/cocktail waitresses as drinks are served.
