    Default Checked out the club

I had a drink at the club that I'm considering working at temporarily. now I watched the other dancers and their bodies are good looking but that doesn't intimidate me so much.... What kinda does is that 99% do pole tricks and when I say tricks I mean more than spinning on the pole. Now again I know that doesn't have anything to do with your own hustle but did any newbies find this a tad bit intimidating knowing you have little to NO experience on the pole.?

I knew zero pole tricks as a newbie and five years later still know zero. I was worried about it at first but I've never worked in clubs with any/lots of stage tipping and have always out-earned the dancers who rock out on the pole, so it's a non-issue.

Was there a lot of stage tipping going on? I might be inclined to learn a few tricks over time if that was the case, but even that would only be if stage tips had the potential of making up a serious percentage of earnings. If it's just a few bucks, I mean, sure it adds up, but for me probably wouldn't be worth the hassle of having to learn and the potential of hurting myself.

By and large, your hustle is going to be your money maker and many customers won't even see your stage show anyway, but as long as you focus on making eye contact with customers while on stage and not looking bored, you'll be better than probably half the dancers up there.

Same here.. I started around 4 or 5 years ago and still don't know any pole tricks. I want to get a pole in my apartment and try learning some but just to give me something to do at home and not because I feel intimidated anywhere. Try to learn how to twerk a little bit if you feel boring on stage compared to the girls doing pole tricks. Also, floor work can look sexy and get you just as many tips as pole tricks can. You can make your stage set stand out by dancing slower and being more sensual on stage that probably looks hotter than any pole tricks anyway. I've been rained on a bunch of times just from looking hot on stage and not because I did anything fancy at all lol. But like shanna said depending on the club most customers won't even see you on stage anyway so don't focus on that. And if they do see you all that matters is you look confident and sexy up there because the number of pole tricks you can do isn't going to determine how much money a customer will spend on you.
