I've had so many bizarre internet issues since I've moved and I'm usually pretty good at troubleshooting but the ones I've been having here are beyond me. I'll only mention a few of them:
A while back my speeds kept dropping, I never actually lost my internet connection or anything but my speeds would drop extremely low and I noticed that once 5 o' clock PM hit it would all be 100% fine again until the next day. It wasn't a coincidence, I noticed it and started keeping track of it but all of the 600 technicians I told about it didn't think a thing about it. Eventually a tech came out and did fix it but I thought that was weird.
Then the other week my router(it's a router and modem in one) reset itself a couple times over the course of a couple days making me temporarily lose my internet connection, then one day it started doing it repeatedly. So I called support, they said my signal was too high and sent a tech out. However, I removed my router and booster from an extension cord and plugged them directly into the wall and then it was completely fine and when the tech came a few days later he said I must have fixed it because he found no problem with the signal.
However---yesterday my router started resetting itself again, I called support and the dude said he was thinking I need a new router(even though mine is pretty new) and set up a tech visit. After I got off the phone I fucked around with it and my connection ended up coming back and staying completely stabilized and I had no more issues but it started resetting itself again today, and I checked and sure enough it was doing it the same time it was yesterday. Then it re-stabilized completely at the same time it did yesterday.
