Default Liquid Lipsticks and other trendy makeup products

Lets talk about makeup! So I have a serious makeup addiction, I'm always buying new products left and right. Lately, liquid lipsticks and contouring kits/products have been all the rage and every makeup brand is coming out with their own liquid lipsticks and contouring kits. I love liquid lipsticks, I have a ton of them, and I'm thinking of buying a contouring kit to try out. For those of you who wear liquid lipstick, which ones are your favorite?? Any recommendations for a good contouring kit? Oh, and eyebrow products...which eyebrow pencils/powders are your favorite? For me, my favorite liquid lipsticks are Sugar Plum by Anastasia Beverly Hills, Doll Parts by Jeffree Star Cosmetics, and The Balm's Meet Matte Hughes liquid lipstick in Chivalrous. Looking forward to hearing which products you like!

I like lime crime for liquid lipstick but also want to try Anastasia.
Anastasia beverly hills contour kit is the only one I think I will ever use. I LOVE IT!
I'm in love with Anastasia beverly hills brow wiz and before that I used the powder duo, too.

I subscribe to ipsy, and also have a ridiculous amount of makeup- this thread is my jam! I like OCC lip tars, and have a bunch of the originals (they've since moved on to make them easier to apply without looking like a Batman nemesis). Love me some NSFW.

Contouring frightens me- my timid experiments include old school usage of highlighter at the top of my cheekbones, middle of my chin, arch of my brows, and above the center of my upper lip. A couple of times I've also used a foundation one or two shades deeper than what I'm wearing. Sometimes I use bronzer around my face (temples, mostly). I'm aiming to be more adventurous with my contouring at some point in the near future (fingers crossed).

Brows- Chella pencil, IT Cosmetics pencil/spoolie. Anastasia Brow Fix if I feel like I'll be sporting the brows for longer than a couple of hours.

I'm loving the suggestions so far! Has anyone tried liquid lipsticks from Gerard Cosmetics, Dose of Colors, and Coloured Raine? I see them all the time on IG and they look so tempting to buy...

Hourglass opaque rouge liquid lip stain in their shade Icon. It is a deep, sexy red that lasts forever. It looks so elegant and sophisticated, and has no shine or shimmer whatsoever.

The hourglass arch brow sculpting pencil is amazing, I can't go back to the regular brow pencils after using it. My brows are very sparse and it takes me forever to do them but with the hourglass pencil it's so much quicker and lasts all day.

Also love the Kat Von D contour kit.

Ooh thanks I need brows, been using the cheapie Essence brow pencil..
&, @ Phat, I LOVE the Makeup Forever brand, color name 6N. It's a red, but not a super fire engine red, & it totally matte, no shine. I love it, bright screaming reds are not me but this is my fav lipstick (not a stain tho sorry).
I got it thru Sephora's 'B-day gift' last yr. & btw, their gift this yr sucked, to mini Nars pencil/lip color the one color was ok (the other's a bright ass red) but they are like a 2wk supply

I tried the stila liquid lipsticks and LOVE them. They are very matte but have a velvety long lasting finish. $24 each

I second the Stila liquid lipsticks, I've been using them for years! Good stuff. So I just bought contouring products from Smashbox, I got their contouring pencil trio (comes with a highlighter, contour and bronzer pencil). And then I got their powder contouring kit...wow!!! I'm already addicted! They work so well and are super easy to use. I would highly recommend Smashbox contouring products to anyone. Oh and I finally bought Dose of Colors liquid lipstick in their new holiday edition trio. I will let you know what I think when I get them in the mail...

She is very pretty but, two things..

    1) Never brush hair from the roots down, ever! (You are calling for split ends and major breakage/2:47 vid 2)

    2) Be careful what lipstick/cosmetics you apply because most times we end up consuming it. Artificial dyes and chemicals are added to most makeup/glosses. Just bought Baby lips, which is packed full of Red 7, Yellow 6, Car Barium Sulfate (Lead/Toxic metals) Silica/which can promote lung cancer, Tin Oxide (promotes lung tumors), crammed full of synthetic materials, sugars, plastics and more..just be careful about what you apply to yourself ladies. I am currently looking for safe alternatives.. Just because its made to go on your lips, doesn't mean its not toxic.

This thread inspired me to try liquid lipsticks again. I'm getting Hour Glass Dusty Rose for a Christmas gift as well as the Buxom lip gloss kit that is really huge!

Just saw this on the Today Show Make Super Matte Lip Pencil. I have a ton of lipsticks that have luster and shine to them but I prefer mattes. BUT sometimes the best colors aren't always in matte form and I'm not trying to spend a lot of money. So this may help change the finish. Im gonna order it and see how it goes.

^^I got Posh Spice, I saw Brittany Balyn wearing it in a video and loved it. Unfortunately I learned too late that brown lipstick does not look good on me if I'm not tan.
