    Default Dropping $$ at work?

How common is it to drop/lose money at work?

This is the first time I've known for a fact it happened to me....it was my slowest night in ages, I made $200 total, one was a hundred dollar bill and the rest twenties....as soon as I get home, I realize the hundred is gone

I just paid off a $9000 surgery and really could have used that money. Anyone else have this happen? Is this a common thing? I have no clue where I would have dropped it and I'm so mad even though I know $100 isn't shit and there are worse scenarios out there

It happens to everyone at some point. All you can do is learn from it and keep a closer eye.

True, at least it was only $100...definitely learned from that mistake

I just wanted to see if this is a fairly common occurrence and that I'm not just extra blonde/careless lol

I Happened to me once that I know of.

A packed Saturday night and as I was leaving I mistakenly left my money bag right on the counter in the dressing room. If I don't count my money at the end of the shift at the club then I'm fingering through it in the car on the way home. Well I'm about a mile or 2 from the club when I realize it's not in the car with me. Then it clicks in my head that I left it in the dressing room. Girl I drove so motherf*cking fast back to the club and ran inside to try to retrieve my money bag. I know how those b*tches are and they will take anything that's not bolted to the floor. Thank gawd my bag was still there with the money and iPhone.

Sorry it happened to you. Maybe you paid someone with the hundred thinking it was a twenty or someone reached in your bag while you weren't looking. Or if the hundred was given to you on stage you may have inadvertently left it on stage and another dancer picked it up.

I've dropped $20 before, I didn't have my purse one day and was like "Alright let's try this garter thing". Apparently I didn't make it tight enough. I was pissed enough about $20, I can't imagine how annoyed you were at $100.

it happened to me quite a bit as a newbie because i'm petty flakey naturally and i made the mistake of getting drunk. i remember one night i did 2 CRs and had ALL my money stolen because i was too tipsy to keep track of it. learned my lesson the hard way. everybody has a different way of keeping their money together in the club, too. a garter/elastic never worked for me, i was always losing it or afraid to lose it, so i use a little clutch and never let go of it..unless I'm doing dances, and then my eye is always on it.

It actually happened to me a couple X's as a cocktail waitress in a regular bar..
Once I accidently dropped my little wrist bag, it was next to my car tire (a friend & I went somewhere briefly after a shift & came back) TG it was still there!

When I waitressed for a short time at a strip club yrs ago I found 2 hundred dollar bills on the floor, I picked it up and later there was a dancer crying that she lost money, so I gave it to her. She was so relieved. I have also found 20 dollar bills here and there on the floor. So it's common.

I lost $75 once. Then another time my iphone was stolen even tho i left it at the dj booth where i always do when im on stage. He often gets up to do other things tho but whoever it was mustve had balls to run up there and snag it like that cause theres always a manager with his eye on the booth. I cried for like two days lol.

I have never dropped or lost money at work, but I do have a knack for finding singles or $20 bills on the floor at work. Plus, our VIP rooms are wide open and no booths, so people always leave or drop money in there. I found $300 a customer dropped under a seat in VIP a few Lions games ago. If I didn't take it, somebody else was going to.
